READ THE DAMN MODIFIERS!!!!!!
Why does nobody read the goddamn modifiers in the Heroic play list? This week has void burn. That means USE VOID WEAPONS. They deal double damage in void burn modifiers.
Don't give me any bullshit like "I play how I want" all you're doing is being a burden to your team by not gearing correctly to do as much damage as possible. I'm sick of being matched with idiots that are too goddamn lazy or too ignorant to equip an optimal loadout.
TL:DR: READ THE GODDAMN MODIFIERS!!!

I agree, but I think that with sub classes there are always exceptions. If it's arc burn, I'm far more likely to use a night stalker over an arc blade. My team will get far more out of a tether than out of a shiny knife. Likewise, I think it's acceptable to use a Defender for arc or fire burn. Weapons of light can potentially contribute more than their other abilities. And sunsingers. While I do t feel as strongly with this one as I do the other two, having a self res handy never hurt anyone.

It's also small arms, so I can use my primary for double damage. If I don't have a decent void sniper, I just used my primary and pretty much melted the abomination. Essentially, don't be a douche.

I have few void weapons. I'll stick with my MIDA. It does the same damage as my sniper in 2 bodyshots.

I was grinding strikes with 2 randoms running arc subclasses with solar weapons lol You can see why i ended with twice the kills and most DPS on the boss. It's annoying but aslong as they don't need reviving every 2 minutes i don't mind!

What are you talking about? Everyone knows the best loadout for strikes is NLB, an arc sidearm, and a sword.

8 RepliesHonestly who cares about the modifiers. Heroic strikes and the nightfall are a joke. You can Speedrun them without even using the modifiers. I remember when nightfall was hard. When if you whipped you had to reset from the beginning. I equip whatever I want so I can level it or because I like that weapon.

3 RepliesNah I don't think putting on my 335 void gear would do as much damage as my 375 solar... always having to equip highest possible light gear ruins the modifier because whatever guns you use for the raid are the ones you'll want to advance
