READ THE DAMN MODIFIERS!!!!!!
Why does nobody read the goddamn modifiers in the Heroic play list? This week has void burn. That means USE VOID WEAPONS. They deal double damage in void burn modifiers.
Don't give me any bullshit like "I play how I want" all you're doing is being a burden to your team by not gearing correctly to do as much damage as possible. I'm sick of being matched with idiots that are too goddamn lazy or too ignorant to equip an optimal loadout.
TL:DR: READ THE GODDAMN MODIFIERS!!!

I'm like, "how?" He says he dismantled everything. I'm like "you're telling me that you don't automatically just keep 1 of each weapon type in the vault? " He says, "wait void is the yellow glowy one right?" Me, "....................."

Its just heroic if it was the nightfall i could understand but heroic is so easy just let people use their highest light to lvl up or what they have the most fun with

Not everyone has an array of weapons at equal light levels with multiple burns. You're probably more of a burden to your team if you're dropping 5 light levels in order to conform with a burn. Also you're not doing any less damage that you would be if the burn wasn't there (unless its small arms etc) you just aren't doing as much as you could do.

No ... Just no... Use your highest lvl gear so you can get higher lvl stuff from skeleton keys The only reason to use all void no matter what is to kill the more annoying bosses with that burn And thats not always possible. Heroics arent that difficult that the extra dmg will change much if you know what u doing .

If I want to rank up my Gjallerhorn or solar sword then that's exactly what I'll do. Oh and just to be clear, using your truth rocket launcher on an enemy with a solar shield? Good luck with that. Even with void burn.

Always try and match with the modifiers but not bothered about others and what they choose to do. Did 4 strikes the other day and had to do 2 of them with just 2 of us so really shouldn't make a difference

I hear ya :) but the speed run is out in those cases otherwise bring along two of your mates and FLY through the things and have more fun

Since teammates seem to be a burden anyway I just tend to ignore their existence.

Maybe I have bounties for solar weapon kills and attachable grenade kills on my hunter. So I'm going to use Bladedancer and a solar weapon. Don't like it? There's the door. TL;DR GO F*CK YOURSELF!!!

If I want to use Patience and Time in the Wretched Eye then I will. I don't care of we lose dps it's not like death will be summoned amongst me. Don't tell me what to do.

Just to annoy people and hopefully get some funny hatemail :) (If we wipe more than twice at the boss, though, I usually switch back to a good loadout.)

I agree, but I think that with sub classes there are always exceptions. If it's arc burn, I'm far more likely to use a night stalker over an arc blade. My team will get far more out of a tether than out of a shiny knife. Likewise, I think it's acceptable to use a Defender for arc or fire burn. Weapons of light can potentially contribute more than their other abilities. And sunsingers. While I do t feel as strongly with this one as I do the other two, having a self res handy never hurt anyone.
