Should Xűr sell exotic shards again?
I'm low on shards so I made this to maybe have it happen...
Edit1: if you're just going to come in here and tell me about the kiosk thing then don't say anything about it. My point is that Xűr sold them for 7 strange coins but decided to stop, hopefully he gets them back in stock.

Pop a heavy weapon upgrade synth and infuse it with 6 motes of light. Dismantle it and it will give you 2 exotic shards and 3 motes of light back. The whole things costs you 1 exotic shard, 3 motes of light and 2500 glimmer

Dear god, yes. My exotics tend to end up stuffed in the vault these days, until I get a duplicate from an engram. I then trash the original for the shards. They don't go far when used for infusing.

At least there's an option to gain exotic shards without having to wait for exotics to drop other than that 1 shard you need to start with.

im going to go with option C. *Why the -blam!- is this even a Question/POLL?* the obvious answer is YES. im sick and tired of infusing things into my exotic's and running out of shards and then relying on RNG or waiting for Xur to arrive so i can buy his armor exotics and dismantle them.

4 RepliesGrab a heavy telemetry and an exotic heavy ex. Thunderlord, use the telemetry and use 6 motes then dismantle for 2 shards.

1 ReplyEasy enough to get them by dismantling heavy exotics. 10 motes of light will level it high enough to poop 2 shards. I do this when I have glimmer/motes to spare.
