How I beat skill based matchmaking
I was having a rough time in crucible. My kd was dropping fast, I didn't feel as confident and I need a change . That change brought me back to year one status and I have seen a dramatic increase in my output since changing my mindset and strategy.

3 RepliesI can't seem to get my kd above 1 lol, forget that 2.whatever shit. Thing is, sometimes I crush in crucible and have some amazing games, then as quick as I won a game, I'll be chucked into a match with folks who are clearly far better than me. This frustrates the hell outa me I gotta be honest

I'm one of the best crucible players in the world so SBMM never finds someone even close to my level since there's maybe 1-2 people who are better than me and they don't play during the same time I do. So if you want to be matched with weaker player, raise your game Edit: just owned (redacted but you know who you are) 1v1! He didn't even get 1 kill I am untouchable

I forgot just how big of difference SBMM makes until I played on my sister's account recently. Didn't drop below a 3.0 in a single game and every team was trash. Kinda funny, actually.

I feel like every single game is a 9-0 Trials match! I just wanna go and try out some weapons sometimes, instead I'm constantly forced to use Mida just to get a 1.2 K/D!

5 RepliesI think this is the right attitude. We're all playing the same game with basically the same tools. If what you're doing isn't working, try something different. I recently switched back to Gunslinger because Nightstalker just wasn't working out for me, and, while the results vary, it's been nice just for the change of pace. Sick gameplay, by the way. I'll be sure to run the hell away on the off chance our path's cross in the Crucible.

For whatever reason the matchmaking system doesn't put you into the most laggy games, games in progress, or fighting against a stacked team. PS. The lesser skilled friends don't have to be the fireteam leader. Edit: Loved the music

Lately ive been matchmade in team based modes with absolute garbage im not the best at pvp but there is a clearly visible rift between what the enemy team is capable of and what my team of lvl 23-38s are incapable of.

3 RepliesI recently just started a new Profile....like 4 days ago....all new from scratch, I loved the whole build-up of the characters and decided to do it all over again....granted I have only played 2 matches so far, the daily ones. My K/D is over 2.5, I'm playing with blue weapons and a partial skill tree and yet I am over double my main profile, not sure if its due to SBMM or if I'm just more cautious thinking I'm under leveled, but I'm loving the game again.

Nice content there. For improving your channel, try to condense info in less time. It's a good video a little long winded though. With attention spans being so short, you'll want to keep that in mind. Best of luck to you

Curious, what was your output prior to change? And what style were you. It seems now your racing around in a frantic pace. Were you more methodical and played with your primary, but got tired of trading off kills with high rate of fire autos and grenades? In basketball terms, you went from a half court offense and defense to a full court press/ fast break offense. I see a lot of people play that style nowadays.

Don't be scared to try new things. Figure out what you're best at." I guess I'm just wondering how you feel about the Hunter class and how you feel about it in comparison to the Warlock, as far as effectiveness in the Crucible.
