Pretty self explanatory. Everything is assumed at it's "hard" or highest level content option at the time when it was the max "end-game" content.
If you don't know what the acronyms mean, your opinion was invalid anyways.
*EDIT*
Just want to say "thanks" for people actually voting and posting without the usual toxicity around here. It's interesting to see, and i'm sure the devs could find this to be valuable feedback when designing new end-game content. The posts as well the poll.
*EDIT 2*
Ok Cozmo & Deej, take note to this thread. I think it's pretty clear, the players that have been around for a while and are still here clearly think certain content has been made more difficult than other content.
I'm not positive this means "make more content like this" - but is indicative of which fights stuck in people's minds and which are...well...not very memorable or worth mentioning.

Poor CoE.

1 ReplyVoG was tough the first few times, but skolas with lightswitch/arc burn was just hell lol
-
Uh. I think people forget how hard Crota used to be. Since this post specifically is talking about the "peak" difficulty. No one knew about the window ledge strat at first. Everyone did the left bubble strat and actually killed boomers and had to deal with wizard spawns. Finding a good swordbearer/learning how to swordbear was difficult. You would get kicked for not having Gally because without it taking down Crota was inconsistent. If anyone died you would almost always just wipe because downing Crota would be really hard. No one knew how to use the sword for two consecutive downs initially so you always had to deal with ogres.

Certain mods make PoE the winner but the thought of redoing VoG the next week after my first completion had me wondering how that's even possible.. Even though I just did it. True definition of hard endgame content

Edited by Offtopickle: 6/4/2016 5:55:26 PMI think many people didn't read the title properly... He asked for the hardest not your favorite.
VoG was really easy if you knew what to do!
Fck both the people you just named ...

4 RepliesClearly no one remembers solar burn Skolas. You had to painstakingly time your exits to not die to his scorch cannon.
-
Skolas was a fuсking bitch to fight with Arc Burn.
-
Edited by Flow: 6/3/2016 10:29:22 PMImo people are just putting VoG because it's the best raid and most fun activity. they want to protect it and claim it's the best, and imo it is, but Skolas was hardest, by far. I respect people's opinions and all, but I straight up cannot see how Skolas isn't at 100%. Edit: Before people call me a taken tot or whatever, I switched to PS4 at the April update. I played on Xbox since December 2014.

Skolas was the hardest, and having no check point was a pain if you were having difficulties. CoE is a bit of a joke. CE, VoG, and KF just take a little coordination, but none of them are overly difficult once you're comfortable with the mechanics.
-
Quodron solo with no gjallarhorn was a bitch but i felt damn good doing it.
-
1 ReplySkolas was really difficult. Especially after they took away burns, when you couldn't just burn him down quickly.
-
Skolas arc burn lightswitch was pretty much unplayable. Pre-nerf Quodron was brutal as well, especially with how buggy that fight was.

1 ReplyEdited by Powermix24: 6/3/2016 5:16:50 PMVOG was the hardest followed by Crota . Hard mode that is .

2 RepliesEdited by Coyote_Joe_304: 6/3/2016 7:07:20 PMI'm one of the 8% who put KF. Only reason I voted for that was because it was the only endgame activity I didn't clear during its first week. They all had their points of difficulty. VOG was a bitch if you were in a team of forever 29s. If you were 29, it was hard as hell to get a group. That really set the teamwork tone for the game. Crota was full of glitches. If you were 2 levels under max, it was easy for you to get one shotted by a boomer and cause your team to wipe. PoE was originally fun. Pre nerf qoodron can burn in hell for all I'm concerned. Skolas was a bitch depending on what burn was on. (The gally/blackhammer/solar burn strat week 1 made it a little less demanding if you were a little underleveled.) KF was just mechanical as shit. Love the fact it really made teamwork and communication important again. One bad Apple really spoiled the bunch, especially in the early days. Overall, I'm not hating on anyone for what they picked.

Dunno if it's just me but I still don't have the oryx challenge phase 100% down. Vog I can run easily, love holding the relic and all, can do each roll, etc Same with crota, love swordbearing, etc Skolas was actually alot of fun in Y1, didn't have a gally the first time I ran it but black hammers and all got us thru just fine, I remember alot of people struggling with him and quodron as well (had no issue with him pre-nerf with no gally either) maybe my team was just good at poe CoE is a joke
-
2 RepliesAre we counting glitchiness? If so, I need to change my vote to CE.
-
Skolas was the biggest pain after they took away solar burn so we couldn't melt him with Gally
-
Skolas was a pain. Hell even getting to him was a pain. I have nightmares about those Arc Burn Psions (pre-buff Ward was useless in that round).
-
14 RepliesEdited by haywire: 6/3/2016 1:57:31 AMWhere is the option for beta Sepiks Prime? That shit... that was the stuff of nightmares

1 ReplyI feel like PoE had the smallest percentage of people complete. Dismantling mines with arc burn wizards, or pre-nerf quodron were both a pain, but skolas was easily the most challenging end game boss. Even before the burn removal, just getting to him could be a struggle. Most of my lfg groups lost at least one guy via rage at the cabal round (dismantling mines with arc burn psions blasts that at the time would go through ward of dawn).

7 RepliesLol PoE difficult, easiest shit, gets boring so fast.

VoG was the most difficult raid at its time. Hardest level to gear ratio. Less weapon options. Less experienced players. CE HM was also difficult and I spent way too many hours watching the swordbearer get wreaked again and again... But this wasn't due to overall difficulty, but more learning the best strategy and putting all the pressure on a single player. KF is the most difficult team based raid. Prior to the April update, teams were just lost and fell apart entering the final room with the Sisters and Oryx. Overall I think its easier than VOG, but requires so much more from the team. Which is why KF gets votes for being the hardest. As a week 1 player, I know what it was like for each raid from the start. VoG was the worst looking back on it. I am sure of it lol.
-
I think skolas was the hardest after they got rid of the extra elemental damage modifier and even when they were active it was a bit difficult. VOG wasn't hard at all. Of course my first playthrough I was using a pulse rifle of pertorians but I never thought VOG was a hard raid. The only thing that makes any raid hard is being under the recommended light level. People just say VOG was hard because they remember being level 28s and 29s trying to do a level 30 raid
-
Skolas without elemental burn but lightswitch and you're carrying someone for MoT.
