I am talking about ANY game! Personally I don't worry about my K/D ratio at all.

The only time I would bother worrying is if there were benefits/boosts/buffs while playing but all it's about is bragging rights

I check it, but I don't play just to have a good K/D.
-
Half the time i can try to be serious and the other half of the time i just dont care and be casual af

It is genuinely hard for me to take it seriously. In a game like Destiny, between the shitty netcode and retarded aspects of weapon balancing, Destiny is in no way shape or form a legitimate competitive game. Then again, in a game like BF4 that could be construed as genuinely balanced to be competitive, I still end up not giving a shit about my KD because I will seriously die 30 times in a match just having fun and doing stupid shit. Like "Feral why did you go 16/31???" and I'm like "because I was shooting down helicopters with a dirtbike covered in explosives" . The only games that I actually took my KD seriously on was Gears of War series.

Depends. If it's a team deathmatch type game, then yeah.. It's pretty much the only thing that matters. But when possible, I avoid those types and play objective based games. I will do whatever it takes to win; if rushing the enemy and dying helps the team, I don't care about my K/D.
-
Yea lol I usually say I'm doing bad if I go 15-and like 12
-
Only for certain games.
-
I play for fun. I hate when people try to go off topic and stir up the argument by saying 3 words. "Your k/d is bad" then they tell you you're bad and you shouldn't be playing. Wtf? Don't people understand that games were made for entertainment purposes. If you like competition then play matches that require competition. Ugh. Developers of any Multiplayer game should lock out people who don't play for fun. I don't know how this'll work but I want it to happen.
-
Nope. I play for fun.
Unlike the people in #Destiny.. *shudders*
-
I made a post on a different site saying "see kids that's why you play the objective " I had over 3000 points in halo ce and the next best person had 1000, everyone said "10-3? I've seen better" or "kd matters more kid"
-
Ptfo that's more important.
-
Depends on the game
-
In cod a little but in overwatch where it's pure objective no.
-
No I'm typically more concerned with my win/loss ratio. Usually because I'm an above average player and my k/d is usually positive.
-
I like to keep it positive. Unless it's a game I know I'm bad at, such as Battlefield. In which case, I don't care. cx
-
I like to make sure I don't turn... *shutters* Casual
-
Yeah I'd probably be mad if it was ever under 1
-
no. I already know I'm a trashy player
-
As long as it's positive
-
No. I used to, but I was never any good in multiplayer so I stopped caring
-
Edited by Rylor Threev: 5/30/2016 7:18:51 PMI care and I don't care, with my unstable skillz I go 50-0 or 0-50
-
If it's a game I love to death then I guess a little.

3 RepliesYup. I don't even have to try really at this point. faced so many casuals before I got ranked in several games. Now, every ranked game feels like I'm playing casuals again because they don't know their class or character.
