Pulse Rifle Meta was the best Meta
This was the height of the destiny crucible to me personably. You had bad juju, red death, hopscotch pilgrim (the best of them all with the right roll and the most rare), spare change, and a few I may be leaving out. Mida multitool still recked and it was OK to use something else than a sniper rifle as a secondary. Some may hate but I personably loved this meta and some may agree, I just hat how I haven't played in 3 months and all I see in iron banner is Mida, Mida, TLW, Mida, Mida, 1000ys, Mida, TLW. We all want a meta that has more than two or three guns running the show
Edit 1: I'm seeing some love for this and yes I can't believe I left out the messenger, that was a MONSTER! #BuffPulseRifles
Edit 2: We're trending! Please destiny bring balance back to crucible! Buff auto rifles and pulse rifles just enough to add verity.
Edit 3: Seems the common thought is that HoW meta was the best (I agree 100%), yet knowing Bungie by now they'll screw it up again lol
Edit 4: Well with news of the new update, as a preview, I think it'll be Suros Regime and Fusions which I'll f**k with cuz that was the first couple months of vanilla destiny. Wish they would bring back the Hopscotch Pilgrim but I'll take Spare Change if I didn't delete the yr 2 versions I got...FML

I hated those pulse rifles with a passion. But in comparison to everything else I agree. It was the easiest meta to counter with whatever you felt like using.

Noooooooo. Suros pulses were broken (still are), and we called it "Broken Juju" for a reason.

2 RepliesThe meta right now is fine. You can run almost any weapon and be successful (With a few exceptions). A lot of people right now are complaining about MIDA and The Last Word with no reason other than the fact that they can't counter it either due to a lack of skill, or just having bad weapons. The meta right now all about the rolls you have on a weapon. My Hawksaw with high range and headseeker can take out MIDA in a heartbeat, and it flinches snipers enough that it forces them back into cover and gives me time to move out of their lane. If you have good weapons and you're still getting dropped consistently, try to get perks on your armor that compliment the weapons and subclass you're using. ( +1 Armor stat for using X subclass, Reload buffs, etc.) Also you could build a higher armor stat for your subclass. It can make the difference of surviving that incendiary grenade or dying.

I got a spare change roll with headseeker third eye and perfect balance but my friends made me infuse it into last word for trials :( [spoiler]We lost after 5 wins as well haha[/spoiler]

Soooo glad I kept my spare change with head seeker, fitted stock, and spray and play ... Not the best perks but still good.

2 RepliesI think right now is the best I've ever seen the crucible There was a time that was only thorn and TLW. There was a time that was only pulse rifles. Right now you see everything. Auto rifles, scout rifles, pulse rifles, TLW. This is the most diverse meta I've seen in a while. [spoiler]i don't remember the vex and autos regime metas. I played destiny since September just not the crucible right away [/spoiler]

I can agree with this. However, the current Meta isn't just those three guns. Run around long enough, and you'll see a few Doctrines get pulled out quicker than you can unload that Last Word.

I'm happy I get to actually use my Spare Change. I'd still love to have a nicely rolled Grasp though.
