1 ReplyI myself dropped out of Highschool in freshman year due to medical problems. I'm now making $20 an hour in an area where that is amazing for an uneducated Human. I have a job I never thought I'd have but it's great, it's fun, it contributes to society (just a little bit), it's very independent, and a great atmosphere. A bit dangerous, but it pays well, and I couldn't be happier. What I am attempting to say (hard to articulate properly with a lack of an education) is, that it depends on what you want to do, and where you are. You want a high-end job that requires a diploma+college degree, work hard, forget about everything but your grades. Hell, even if you don't want a high-end job, Study hard and do awesome in school, it might just come in handy. I'm sure this may not mean much coming from a droupout, just seeing if I can possibly add in my 2 cents.

Do grades...*
-
Primary school? This means you're like 11 or 12... Is this real? If so, then don't worry too much. I -blam!-ed up my high school exams, took an extra year doing a course I hated and ended up getting into my initial first choice university and course after all anyway.

The diploma is a prerequisite for many jobs, but the transcripts only relate to college applications. Certain degrees may be needed for various fields, some of which may only be attained or recognised if certified by specific a collegiate, but in the grand scheme of things...no, grades have little bearing on the outcome of one's life. I suppose it depends on what career you wish to pursue.

Op needs better grades
-
Just try to keep them slightly above average and you'll be good.

Can somebody also translate the poll answers for me
-
You finished primary school......I hope you're high or something. What was your grade in English.

2 RepliesGrades will affect the chance of you getting a job you want

You deserve a job at McDonalds. Wtf is this poll?

2 RepliesThis poll makes no sense....

While credentials matter (such as having a degree), as far as performance is concerned, people only care about the last thing you did. - College will only care about high school. - Your first job will only care about college. - Your second job will only care about your first job.
-
Back then you could fail high school and get a job that paid 45 dollars a hour. I know this because my step mother is in that situation. Now they are increasing the requirements by 4 years in college. Grades do not matter but they matter in the system. You have to work with the shitty system to get ahead in the system. Don't get me started on how most people who have master degrees do not have a job. And how the system is works only for the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer. Due to the fact the poor cannot pay for some college classes unless they have loans or the college is paying for them. So yeah the system is shit but it's our shit we have to live with till another shit shits in the shit.

I legitimately have no idea what this person is saying. Can someone give me a vague idea of what the creature is saying?

UNI grades are far more important than Highschool grades, in my country anyways.
-
I highly doubt you're in high school with grammar like that...
-
Dude, you need help in grammar.
-
Don't honestly know. Though I feel you should pay attention in English...
-
lrn 2 inglish pls

Apparently it does, because I can tell you're failing your language arts class.
-
Umm, you need to work on your poll making skills.

2 Replies1) Go to a community college for two years. Make sure you are actually going to do well, don't slack off. 2) Transfer to a four year university. Likely they won't care about your high school grades when it comes to acceptance. They will still ask for them, but your college GPA will weigh much more.
