"THE DOCTRINE OF PASSING", It's this weapon that is unbalanced and it is also the most used weapon. The Doctrine of Passing literally over powers all other weapons in the short to mid range category.
The "no skill" policy that most gamers no and hate is where this weapon glows in glory. It is over used to the extent that if bungie ran the numbers of all players who have a Doctrine at least got it they can see there is a mighty percentage of people using such weapon. I am really surprised that bungie isn't aware that this is the weapon that most destiny PvP players use. I do not understand how Gjallarhorn in it's hay day gets a nerf in PvE but weapons in the PvP category that are over used don't.
It is easy to assume that gamers are against the Doctrine nerf. You might ask yourself why nerf it? Well that is easy guardian, in some occasions we need a balance that both the auto rifles and hand cannons meet. Now remember the Doctrine is a legendary weapon now if it out guns legendary hand cannons that should at some occasions in gun fights beat the Doctrine than there is a problem. There needs to be balance and the Doctrine needs a nerf because really it is the only auto rifle people feel comfortable and know they can out gun just about any short range weapon.
It should be us gamers to play with other weapons not have to rely on one weapon, we can choose so many weapons but no one wants to because of how underpower they can be. So hopefully Bungie gets there lazy buttocks of there computer chair look into a mirror and say hey you know it's time to nerf the Doctrine of Passing.

1 ReplyLeave it alone. If you've earned it, you deserve it.

That is a craptacular gun that doesn't need any nerf or buff. I have survived hits with this gun and it's not even a great one. I see way more Monte Carlo and Zhalo kills versus this Trials exclusive. It's nice but there are tons of other assault rifles that get the job done and get the job done nicely. I have a 266. AR that melts just as easy and I didn't have to Slave away in sorry Trials to get it. Arminus- D with persistence is a great gun to get for ArmsDay when it comes around. Add feeding frenzy and it's a beast

The main issue I have with the gun is that its melting u.. and it goes way to fast! After the first hit lands its over.. and The worst part it.. u dont even have Time to notice that u are critically Ill! Its just melt u so fast u dont get the time for the health meter to get your attention. Not like when u get hit by a handcanon, pulseriffle ,a scout or another slower auto. Then u have time go see and feel your life vanish but not with this gun..
-
Yeah let's make the only trials reward worth nothing, right? I'm sure once they do that you'll fail to suck.. you wouldn't possibly bitch about some other weapon.. For the record I don't own a DoP, but if I am ever fortunate enough to receive one I sure hope it isn't ruined by bitch-made crybabies such as yourself. May your pathetic queefs always fall on deaf developer ears.

I have an Arminius that has beatin the Doctrine on many occasions!
-
Nerf the nerf headers!
-
1 ReplyNo it does not, what we need is for other guns to be buffed and or everyone to have access to something similar to it, not everyone can get to 7 wins in trials to get one doctrine.

5 RepliesSo the same should go for The Last Word, right? Because that weapon has been around far longer, has always been annoying, always been consistently used, and requires equal skill. Wait, here it comes: "T...the...but The Last Word requires skill!!! BUNGIE PLEASE LISTEN TO ME AND NERF DOCTRINE PLZ!!!!!!!!" Sound about right?
-
1 ReplyI'm sure the people respond "Oh shut up" and "Oh stop crying" are the ones that use it all the time....
-
Agreed! If you are close to mid range you should just give up cuz it just eats you up! Makes me wish I could whip out my thorn in trials...

6 RepliesSTFU LITTLE GiRL

1 ReplyIt's fine it's a -blam!-in auto rifle deal with it
-
16 RepliesWe should nerf tlw instead, you know? That crutch of yours?
-
I agree. I excel in short range combat but not when that gun is in use. I used a "no time to explain" and every bullet was a head shot but by the time I was dead I only broke through the armor of my opponent because that's how fast the doctrine mowed me down. (On a side note if people don't know the no time to explain is an automated pulse rifle that can kill anyone with 2 pulses to the head.)
-
u mean this weekend? coz its a small map. Usually i run MIDA
-
-
Oh shut up. There are far more things to worry about that aren't that. It is perfectly balanced you know why?? Because autos are SUPPOSED to be good at close range. That thing is great there, but at long ranges it gets rekt by Midas and pulses
-
Hell I beat the doctrine all the time with Monty Carlo
-
1 ReplyAll players on PSN. If you see OP name in your crucible game. Get to melting with your most overpowered year one AR. Mine will be a Necro
-
Wait, you want to nerf the marshmallow shooter? Or, are you just mad that you don't have one?
-
Oh shut up u muppet time to kill should be fast for run and gunners
-
1 ReplyNice last word you have there.
-
Dude with your TLW, your only excuse is lack of skill. That gun is way more OP.
-
Bub, where have you been? Bungie enables certain weapons to be OP for a period of time. They've been doing that since day 1
-
4 RepliesThere are so many weapons that can beat Doctrine... And this is coming from someone who has one. Why not just adapt. Use different weapons until you find one that beats them? A good Hawksaw can beat them before they get in range. Mida & TLW can also outgun them. Actually... You know what??? F'ing NERF EVERYTHING and just shoot spitballs at each other. Cry babies.
