Lowest light you would take?
What's the lowest light level player you would take into Taken King Hard mode?

If I'm trying to get it done, 310. If I don't mind helping someone out who may not have much experience, 305. Talking hard mode of course.

300 anything before Oryx. 310 for Oryx.

305 up until oryx, then I say 311

290 if I had really good players with me to carry. I did Hard with 2 300s, so it wouldn't be that bad

305 if it's a random. 2-3 normal mode runs should reasonably get you to mid-300's and you have no business trying to do hard mode if you haven't been able to get a couple of normal completions done. If it's someone you know personally well then heck, you might just backpack them through just for gear.

I did hard at 306 the first day it came out. But a 306 back then is different then a 306 now.

300 for most of the raid. 311 for Oryx.

I really don't care what your light is, I care more about you being able to hold your own. If you can handle that, pay attention and do your part, I'll take you as long as your light allows you to enter the raid. All I ask of you is a willingness to learn all positions in the raid and adaptability to recover if things go wrong.

9 RepliesEdited by Raider TCK: 2/18/2016 11:48:35 PMDepends. I've got an hour to play.. 315. Any over 310 is fine on a light level basis, but most people at 310-312 just aren't very experienced. If I have 4-5 hours free then sure. With a 315+ team I was able to beat the raid twice in an hour and a half total, with one guy taking two cigarette breaks. Every boss was beaten on the first attempt without a wipe. Golgoroth and warpriest were killed in two damage phases, the brand runners claimed brand before snipers spawned at daughters. And oryx was killed both time with challenge mode criteria being met without a single death. It was awesome. It was fun.

311 as they do / take normal dmg on all parts
