It's hilarious how people cry relentlessly and constantly put people down. Like I saw a post and all the guys said was "it's my birthday :)" and a guy said "blam you little blam". Did no one get taught manners or is everyone just that ignorant?

The majority of this forum is comprised of kids 13-17 years old. Kids that age are awful. There's your answer.

I have come to realize when the majority of the community is aged 12 through to 21 you get alot of immature behaviour. I am also coming to realize they get a reaction from each other and get angry and the perpetrator gets a rise off it. I no longer react. That way I cant feed into thier immaturity and not personally give them that rise

Idk queer. Why are you such a fgt
I'm kidding calm down lol
1 ReplyNegative posts get more responses. People are wired to be on top of the social pile. Responses make them feel like they are popular. People see this works... and monkey see monkey do.
-
1 ReplyThis isn't the community. The real community is on Reddit.

4 RepliesI was hit with a Viking funeral/ touch of flame firebolt the other day. I crouched behind a rock to let the burn wear off. I was kicked to orbit for inactivity.

Some people just want to watch the world burn.
I personally want to set it aflame but through the pyro vision goggles:)
I line my house with salt every night

1 Replymore or less its due to this. and it can easily be applied to any online forum, game related or not.

Because crybaby teenagers.

Destiny is popular. Anything popular has a large following. The larger the following, the more potential for rotten cheese. Mmm. Cheese.
-
Let you in on a little secret...Every gaming forum is like this. You know what makes them the way they are? People like you posting nonsensical topics that serve no purpose whatsoever.
-
It is because destiny is new drug addiction and it just add some favor.
-
1 ReplyMaybe this is just what fps communities are like.
-
2 Replies-being anonymous gives people the sense that they can say whatever they want with no consequences -lack of moderation means people can be trolls without worrying about getting banned -people want attention, and negative comments tend to get more attention than positive ones
-
2 RepliesBungie didn't buy any antidotes from the poke mart
-
Because the Internet is the player haters ball with 1s and 0s

Lets list some of the common problems: Bungie has a usual condescending and arrogant tone towards the community and has scammed us since launch. Crucible is full of lag switchers and cheaters that sometimes go unpunished for months after being reported. Bungie up and goes AWOL for five months, says nothing to us about content and then with the worst timing possible, says something and releases a pointless update with a lag switcher favored event. Luke smith still hasnt been fired and seems to have left his balls in his moms purse lol Pete parson has huge shoes to fill since harold -blam!-ed up so badly with the game and the community! Bungie hasnt been listening to anyone in the community and has openly admitted theyve been ignoring us
-
We are all addicts to this game. When addicts are not satisfied they get grumpy. Lol
-
1 ReplyThis is just how forums are. If there was a forum for frogger it would be just as terrible.
-
It wasn't always like this.
-
1 ReplyEveryone tries to blame all of the games problems on bungie but I'd say that about 30-40% is due to the community.
-
1 ReplyBecause people can't be big in real life, so they do it on the forums.
-
"Why is this community so toxic?" Because we're bored. Bungie gave us a great shooter at it's core, and then didn't give us enough content, and now they are messing with pvp so much with connection, weapon "balance" (which creates new god guns every time), and ammo crates, that we are all angry and bored. Gone are the days of cracking the vault of glass, diving into it's depths, and taking out that bullet sponge, Atheon, in hopes of the coveted Vex Mythoclass drop that could melt everyone in pvp. We're bored, and we're salty, and we're addicted, and can't quit, and it's sad.
-
Coz bungie does not give us pve content so ppl have nothing better to do
-
Probably because there's a lot of children who have no grasp on what real problems are actually like.
