There has only been one PVE event since launch
Why is it that? Why has there only been ONE pve event in the entirety of the game since launch while there will soon to be a total of four pvp events?
PVE: The Queen's Wrath
PVP: Trials of Osiris, Iron Banner, SRL, Crimson Doubles
I know I'm going to get called out for this but this is ridiculous! Please for the love of the game have at least one other pve event.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I am NOT talking about DLC. DLC =/= events. For all of you kinderguardians out there, Queen's Wrath was a year one, completely free, week long PVE event with its own bounties and event specific armor.
The wolves and blades of Crota are also not events, they were what is known as INCURSIONS.

There was an early Queens Wrath which I missed due to not having a clue whilst getting to grips with the basics of the game. BUT Queens Wrath 2 came the weekend before HoW launch with the new Petra bounties and Wolf patrols. There was a Paladin woman (or was it Petra with the hat on?) in the Events area before the Reef was opened, so it lasted 4 days I think that makes the Wolf Patrols of HoW, PvE events and if you can accept that then Eris Morn bounties and Crota Sword merchant patrols were also PvE events

It seems most of the people are missing your point and are looking too far into the wording of what your trying to say. I feel ya though. It does suck.

Because if you are calling ToO an event, then PvE has 3 weekly events....No, wait, 4? I suppose the Nightfall could be counted too. Now, is there a monthly PvE event like IB? No, and there should be.

We won't be getting any more content this year in Destiny. Destiny 2 is the focus now, and even if Bungie could tell you what they are doing, they would probably lie to you anyway. A big positive I've seen in these "dark times" is that for all the ways that Bungie yanks us around, misprints information, stretches the truth and even lies right to us, there is still a community trying to save the game. Sometimes I wish they would just turn development over to the community so we could make the game we wanted. But I fear that's already happened, and now there are 45 different people pulling in 90 different directions. Regardless, I would not hold my breath for any new content in this game. You know they will find some way to make the Y1 content relevant again when player counts dip below a certain level. They're banking that one for last because they have no more ideas, no more content, no more PvE events, and aren't going to spend money on a game that is hanging on by a thread as it is... Amazing how I long for the days of Dark Below.

2 RepliesFirst, you put Trials in the PvP events list. Trials was a part of the HoW DLC. Second, Queen's Wrath lasted for TWO WEEKS not one. And if you wanna get really technical, after TDB, Iron Banner became a DLC only event, since it requires the most recent expansions to play. On top of everything else, whatever happened to the Festival of the Lost? Do you not remember that? You didn't have to do PvP to reap the benefits.

I still have the Supremacy Sniper Rifle from the Queens Wrath. The shader and emblems I got also. Then they gave them out during HOW. I was pissed. I may still have the chest piece as well.

13 RepliesI wouldn't class ToO and IB as "events" as they come round at a specific time in the month. If you want to include those types of activities under the "events" banner, then you should also include the Raid and Nightfall under PvE events.

Bungie probably considers expansions to be PvE events. Why spend time putting effort into an event when a lot of PvE-focused work is going into the expansions. Maybe the next update after this Valentine's whatever will be PvE.

Only been playing for about 3 weeks now and have nothing at all to look forward to except an hour long raid once a week because of time blocks. Jesus Christ have you guys not heard the yelling and screaming for more pvE events? How do you not understand what your people want? They've been saying it every -blam!-ing day for over a year. I'm not surprised though. You've definitely shown you don't give a -blam!-.

3 RepliesI don't really know how you can call trials an event...it's the PvP equivalent to raids. Also, SLR wasn't really PvP or PvE it was just kinda there. You're still right though there should be more on the PvE end of things, maybe an iron banner equivalent that happens once a month.

9 RepliesThis entire game heavily favors PVE. The only time it didn't was HOW. I mean throughout vanilla destiny and TDB it was pretty difficult to reach the max level and it took a long time for you to do it. TTK is no exception. The best way to get exotics is still the nightfall, quickest way to get marks is still the "weekly", and the most reliable way to get high light level gear is still the raid. As for the people that mention iron banner either you don't play it or want to be hard headed to prove your point because right now IB is a poor excuse of an "event". It used to be special when you could reroll only the IB weapons so they felt special but that's gone and all that's left is the tier 5 package which can give you 310+ loot. Trials also doesn't count it's a weekly playlist, if you want to stand by it and say that trials is an event then you must say that the raid is an event as well. Secondly, the Queen event sucked pretty badly the first time around. Lastly, SRL and festival of the lost are neither PVP nor PVE events they were small experiments and events for both groups.
