Great, so we go an entire month without Iron Banner for some craptastic racing on two tracks
Thanks Bungie. That's definitely what I wanted to do over my holiday break, drive your half arsed Wipeout bikes across the two tracks you bothered to make while you all sit in front of a screen hitting refresh on your bank accounts as people buy sparrows and record books.
You promised us Iron Banner in December. I don't think most people expected you to mean in the last two days of December. Of you really launch it after SRL ends on Dec 29th, it will be a full six weeks in between Banner runs.
You're obviously not going to put out legitimate content any more, just gimmick events, and that's enough garbage to deal with, so delaying events that we actually do consistently enjoy is way over the top.
Want a TL;DR?
Sparrow racing is garbage and it's unacceptable that our Iron Banner got shoved back three weeks for it.

Pretty disappointed myself, I haven't been playing much Crucible lately so I suppose the trend will continue.

2 RepliesLast IB ended on Nov 23 Next IB starts on Dec 29 I think we lost a week, and we all got infusion gear for our IB stuffs, amirite?

2 RepliesYes, it'd be very smart to have Iron Baner next week when most people will be spending time with family. Almost traditionally Iron Banner went live on the last week of the month with the exception of TTK launch and this December. Say something goes wrong during Iron Banner (If it went live next week) and no one was there to fix it because they're with family? Then you'd complain even more that Bungie can't fix said problem.

5 RepliesThe entirety of PvP can get the shaft for all I care. This recent update put the Last Word and 1000-Yard Stare squarely at the top of the totem pole. They make it worse with every single update... At least sparrow racing is fun. It's also the first balanced PvP mode ever to come to Destiny: we all have the same racing sparrows, just different skins! See what happens when they keep things simple for once? They should learn from this. Simple is sometimes better.

I was dreading trying to squeeze IB in during this busy time currently enjoying only having a few daily bounties to knock off in SRL and some easy good light level loot along the way.

Srl sucks ass cause there is no real competition out there, all everybody does is cheat, the sparrows have no real balance, you get stopped by stupid rocks in the race, there is no balance to the handling and speed of it. It gets old real fast and it's only two tracks. I understand you wanted to give us something to take our mind off shooting all the time. But you got people that all they do is bump you into everything on the map. If you put that in there you should give weapons , power ups and shields. I'm in first I hit a pebble now I'm in last, I get bumped out of a gate by a rider, I should be able to target that rider and blast him it's only right. Bungie yall suck!!!

srl is easier to get high level drops, you don't even have to try. It sucks, but oh well. I, and i think a very large amount of others, are probably very glad that iron banner will not be starting until the week following xmas, considering that i am sure i am not the only person traveling home for the holiday and the weekend that follows. Also, its a full month of events, rather than just one week, so i don't really care at all.

2 RepliesI would imagine it was push back because most people tend to spend the holidays with family and not say on a console all day. Not to mention if anything went wrong then there's no live team to sort it out. I'm pretty sure it was a personal thing aimed at people that play IB.

4 RepliesIn what universe does anyone actually [i]want[/i] Iron Banner for anything but the gear drops? It's literally a marginally different version of day-to-day Crucible with the inclusion of teams who try way too hard. There's like, nothing good about it at all unless you're a member of one of those teams who try too hard. SRL drops decent gear, so that can't be the problem.
