Great, so we go an entire month without Iron Banner for some craptastic racing on two tracks
Thanks Bungie. That's definitely what I wanted to do over my holiday break, drive your half arsed Wipeout bikes across the two tracks you bothered to make while you all sit in front of a screen hitting refresh on your bank accounts as people buy sparrows and record books.
You promised us Iron Banner in December. I don't think most people expected you to mean in the last two days of December. Of you really launch it after SRL ends on Dec 29th, it will be a full six weeks in between Banner runs.
You're obviously not going to put out legitimate content any more, just gimmick events, and that's enough garbage to deal with, so delaying events that we actually do consistently enjoy is way over the top.
Want a TL;DR?
Sparrow racing is garbage and it's unacceptable that our Iron Banner got shoved back three weeks for it.

I don't bother with iron banners anymore. Sparrow racing actually got me off of fallout 4 and playing destiny this week. Then I'm going back to other games. I don't even bother raiding in year 2.

I'm too fricken busy to do IB until after Christmas. Lots of people will be on vacation after the 29th. I think they called it right.

Edited by John MacRambo: 12/18/2015 6:13:44 PMI've been as critical of Bungie as anybody and I kind of understand where your coming from but after playing the sparrow racing quite a bit I have to grudgingly admit, for what it is, it's quite well done and the chance to drop 320 helmets and marks/bonds/cloaks is too good an opportunity to pass up.

They should run at the same time... SRL is fun, a lot of people asked for it, besides, IB is a classic monthly pvp and we should have it back redarless of what.

1 ReplyPeople wanted sparrow racing. Bungie gave us sparrow racing. We still complain. Why? Destiny is a fps. You can gladly shoot stuff. Kill things. But for fun you can race your sparrows against friends. Or randos. Fun, it should be the objective in any game. But i think people forget this.
