Dragon's breath. The flare did just as much damage as pre-nerf gjallarhorn. But the problem was, it didn't have tracking, and it was near impossible to keep an enemy from moving out of the flare. But now with the taikonaut, the tracking problem is resolved, and it is usable in the raid because warpriest, golgoroth, and sisters dont move that much! Who is excited?!!! I am!

2 RepliesThe flare should stick to their targets when you hit them

Was thinking the same thing

1 ReplySEE?! SEE?! I KNEW IT! THAT WAS WHY IT WAS MY FAVORITE WEAPON, JUST ADD TAIKONAUT!
-
Good for warpriest and golgoroth ? Sorry, I'd rather use my black spindle. Def good for trash mobs like on totems or during strikes. With takonaut Titan helm it'll be pretty nice in pvp too.
-
1 ReplyMmm slight problem with your statement there. It has tracking, but you need to be a Titan, using taiko. Every other class, sucks to be you then???
-
1 ReplyOver 600 replies! And each and every one of them utterly pointless.

Yassssssss can't wait to get my dragons breath back

I dont know if they took it away or not but during the middle days of the house of wolves they did a patch to where all mobs would stay in grenades and blast effects like dragonsbreath crota and skolas got stupid easy

7 RepliesFück off. Flare does microscopic damage

Edited by zxionisus: 11/23/2015 7:04:28 AMTaikonaut does not work with Dragons Breath year one. Let's hope they fixed it for Dragons Breath year 2.
-
ToM and black spindle. I hate dragons breath and always will.
-
Pointless. Snipers will out-perform it by far in every aspect of the raid. On oryx I wouldn't be able to justify dropping a machine gun for it and certainly wouldnt sacrifice ToM exotic slot.
-
5 RepliesCan't you reroll exotic weapons too?
-
Warpriest moves, but teammates should be able to stun lock him for you. The only question is whether it would deal more damage than you pumping tons of sniper shots into him. Golgoroth isn't an option because you aren't dealing crits, but daughters would be a nice place to use it. The only question (again) is whether your sniper would deal more damage.
-
Well technically dragons breath didn't do quite as much damage a s thorn but it did a pretty good amount compared to other launchers and if it had tracking it would have been a god like thorn for people who disnt have it I think Bungie should make dragons breath have tracking
-
Taikonaut will make it Ghorn. Warlocks and Hunters get shafted on that end. Again.
-
5 RepliesOverall damage, I'd say yes, but both work differently. Gjallarhorn puts out damage QUICK. Dragon's Breath takes longer for the same amount. ~TheGreatNike
-
Since Gjallarhorn had tracking without needing a helmet only a titan can wear.... No. Dragons Breath is not the year 2 Gjallarhorn. Sorry.

1 ReplySomeone remind me how the weapons work. If you have year 1 blueprint, you can buy it for marks or a shard?
