Alright where to start....Everyone is complaining about how sunbreakers are OP? It is a terrible class. The grenades suck, the melee is the standard titan bear hug, and the jump is still a pinata. I could kill a airborne titan blindfolded. The super is good but just as with a blade dance when you hear it triggered you just take off. In trials when I see 3 titans we usually beat them before a super even gets built. If they are good players and just happen to be playing a titan than it is close, but this weekend we beat a 3 titan team, when two of them triggered sunbreaker in the same round. Run hide repeat. When they pinata jump behind us we just blink away.
I am really interested to hear; people who struggle with the sunbreakers, what is the problem?

1 ReplySearch up Titan skating and learn that Titans have the games best jump maybe you could argue blink so it's the second best. The melee sucks. I agree with that . The super is the best in the game. The nades are the best sticks grenade, and the incineary nade is top teir as it can one shot. Sorry bout me speling

I don't PvP/IB much (and I'm not very good) but I've gone up in IB/Crucible against way too many bottom tier PvP Sunbreakers that still come out on top in matches. When facing off with a gun/weapons against them, I have no problem getting the best of them...but will finish below them because of Hammer Time. I've seen so many that can't shoot or aim or use decent strategy in Crucible...and it shows. They will be in last or next to last during the match-- until that Super charges. Then they are catapulted to the top of the ranks. After the Fire Fades they drop down and struggle again...until that Super charges again and BOOM they are back at the top, reigning supreme. For the most part, the other 2 classes can't 'reverse a bad players fortunes' that regularly and to that degree. Sure the Supers help a Hunter and Warlock 'get back on track', so to speak. And any Super will help a mediocre player even out the K/D a bit. I don't have anything against Sunbreakers in general, though. There are a great many that are supremely skilled with the gun and in Crucible and have certainly wrecked my limited Crucible play (without their Hammers). But for any specific Super to turn a not-so-good player into a consistently top-of-the-leaderboards player, seems....a bit off. I think you should play whichever class brings you the most fun and it's not a players fault that they are merely using what the game gave them. But when some bad PvP'ers (well, in regards to shooting) are consistently winning match after match-- possibly something needs to at least be looked into. And when I say bad, I mean players that struggle mightily with handling a weapon and only rack up kills with their Supers. But in all fairness, the object is to win. So you can't really be mad when someone uses the tools giving them, to do just that. And yes, I'm a pretty bad PvP'er, but I still have fun when I give it a go.

[b]TLDR[/b] The reason Sunbreaker super is overpowered is 55% damage reduction Up to 8 'Player seeking' 1 shot hammers Ranged attack Area of effect (DOT) Regenerating health ( With 55% damage reduction ) on a kill Cannot be one shot like all other supers. [b]The fact that the super lasts long enough for a player to be killed by a hammer spawn back in and then get killed again by the same super.[/b] The fact OP's K/D has effectively doubled on a consistent basis since using Sunbreaker illustrates my point perfectly. Sun breaker WILL be nerfed in the next balancing patch.

People play crucible which has LEVEL ADVANTAGES DISABLED so a level 30 can kill you with a green gun everyone hops on the nerf train but dont understand what they are playing but i guess if crying gets far then hey

Im using a sunbreaker most of the time. Here are my 2cents: They should rework the dmg reduction. Every super should shut down a SB even with max armor. I dont abuse the armor, so most of the time i cant win a fight agaisnt a max armored SB (super v super). They should reduce the hammers (like 1 or 2) and reduce the super up time with it. They should nerf the healing perk. And they totally need to rework the useless perks like the seeker. These are my honest thoughts, my main is the titan.

Ohk melee Fusion and incendiary grenade. Ohk super(nothing to complain about since it's a super). Huge explosive radius. Over shields or instant heal on all ability kills. I think there is a armor so you can have both. People who complain about titan melee just want to find anything to not get it nerfed since a melee is supposed to be up close and personal.

The grenades are fine, melting point is great, so are the other perks and I feel like Titan melee range does need a buff. However the jump is the best, as people "Titan-skate"

All the grenades are good maybe except thermite it's decent, you get health regen after everything, your only weakness is your melee

Sunbreaker is not op, I hit a sith warlock point blank and be did not die in Iron banner, now before anyone says advantages are enabled I tested it on regular crucible and the same thing. So no its not op, in fact I've been sniped while I have the hammer on.

OK, so firstly, no blink hasnt made other classes bad. Melee is irrelevant due to shotguns, I like the fusion nade and the thermite nade, and the super being noisy, well, its not

1 ReplyIf they dont activate the super right in front of you then its not a problem to run. The super is very op. Its an AOE golden gun with tracking that can heal you, you can throw hammers as soon as you activate, the range is freaking nuts and to get several shots. With golden gun you cant fire and youre vulnerable until the activation is complete. The other day i picked up heavy and met a Titan in a hallway. He poped his hammer at the same time i fired my rocket. My rocket, which hit him directly, took him to half health (he didnt have a shield or anything) and he killed me. Thats insane. Any other class get ,basically, invincibility on super activation?
