Best way to get red death??
Missed out on this year one and now I'm struggling to even find a good method to get this gun, seen one drop for a buddy in the chest at Poe but that's about it.
Can it drop from exotic engrams? Many thanks for any input

I got mine from xur primary legacy engram - it was the only yr 1 primary exotic I was missing so got it first go, then just bought the yr2 version from blueprints

Spam legacy engrams then buy it from the kiosk.

You can still run year one raids or PoE to increase your chances as well instead of just doing the year two methods others have mentioned. It's only going to drop the year one version, but it will at least unlock the blueprint in the tower for the year two version.

3 RepliesIt's just a random drop buddy. Do all 3 raids each week if you can and get the exotic chest every time. Do the nightfalls. 3 of coins farming. Trials flawless chest & I think the gold package bounty. Prison of elders level 35 I think still drops exotics occasionally. Buy it from xur when he sells it. Other than those the only way is a random crucible or strike drop and well, don't depend on getting any exotic from that method let alone the one specific one you're going for.

Keep doing Y1 activities, I suggest PoE, until you get Y1 Red Death. Then buy the Y2 Red Death from the Exotic Weapon Kiosk.

It drops from exotic engrams both legacy and normal. I don't think legacy engrams are a good path as you then would have to buy a year 2 version but it could work out it you have alot of the year one exotic primary. Where ever you get exotics you can get this gun. Just keep playing and be sure to have some strange coins should xur sell it. Also best to not have you heart set on it. You can play for hundreds of hours and not get a specific drop, rng is fun like that.
