THIS BLOODY KILL 25 PLAYERS WITH A SWORD IS DUMB
I hate this I hate pvp with a passion and I'm forced to do this to get my sword ya know what bungee screw you
Edit: Apparently I'm just bad and didn't know hilt kills counted. Thank you all for the help and yes I am very new to destiny.

Don't make your team wait too long to pop the purple. 3) Friends and clan mates will actually wait for you to get Heavy when it spawns. Randoms will hog the HW. Play with people you trust as often as you can. 4) You won't kill 25 players with a sword in one match. Be patient with yourself. 5) LT blocks head on weapons fire. Learn to use it. 6) Play Mayhem because Heavy spawns more often. 7) Stick to match modes you feel confident with. 6v6 matches have more players to hunt, but they can also hunt you in return and not all of the players on your side will act like team players.. 3v3 matches can be easy if you are on a good team that dominates the map, but they can also be nightmares if you are pared with rage quitters that bail on you at the first sign of trouble..

It can be obtained on "Control " the easiest ! Just go in the there and play the game . Don't go in with the mindset of getting only the 25 sword kills! Just enjoy the match ...with that in mind ...25 sword kills will be yours in no time.

Make sure to jump when you go to melee someone with the hilt. It speeds up the melee animation and gets rid of the cool down. Jump melee and then another melee.

It really is stupid. Swords are bad in Crucible, and like to keep my distance so it really doesn't suit my playstyle. I just ended up getting a couple buddies, and farmed them in Rumble. K/D took a hit, but it was worth it.

Play rumble. Hide behind corners with sword equipped so you're In 3rd person view, wait for enemy and Suprise!

I suck at PvP and got my first reign of Terror using the sword hilt. Took me 3 matches to get 25.

Did it in 2 Control matches last night and im terrible in crucible, ive learned that it you melee and then immediately jump and again melee right after you can kill alot faster, got 17 kills in my first match like that

Second sword is easier, you can skip the crucible part

I got it in an hour, you can kill without any ammo and it'll count

depends on which character you are, nothing like using the blade dancer invisibility and sneaking up on people to hit them with the handle.... that's right, you don't need to wait for actual heavy ammo to complete it

You've got to play it right, don't go running at people like a jihadist. Once you get heavy play safe, let the rocket men spend their ammo, get yourself into a part of the map with tight corridors and corners. A sword is unbeatable against all but the best in that environment.

2 Repliesmy fav strategy is, going into rumble with two friends, hide in a corner. tell said friends where you are, have them come to you and let you kill them. easy peasy.

I went into Classic 6v6 since most people there were new (seriously, there's a lot of new players), and I usually didn't have to deal with Sunbreakers and the maps I knew pretty well. First 20 kills were no problem, but the last 5 took me a shit load of time for some reason, but I got it done.

3 RepliesI got a bit frustrated with that too. Decided to play like a beeotch! Got heavy, found a nice spot to crouch, waited for some poor bastard to come near, popped out with my tiny Weiner between my legs and killed him/her, rinse and repeat. Feel dirty admitting to it but I got it off my chest!

I did it in two matches in the classic pvp maps. It's easier playing with newer Guardians cause they won't see the sword coming at them lol.

Control Memento Get heavy Go to B and hide in the wall You'll get at least 4 guys if you block and attack correctly

I took me 4 matches in rumble, hide around corners jump out and hilt them to death. Luckily for me in those matches most people were doing the same thing.

Did all mine during IB for two swords. Pain in the ass,but best thing to do is not even try. Just go in and have fun. Sooner or later the sword kills will get done.
