If you're of any skill worthy bracket, you've at least attempted the hard raid. Let me shed some Light on the problems here.
First off, anyone who didn't buy content lost 70% of their game. Not moving forward is one thing, but actually losing content is another.
Secondly, for those like myself who did buy TTK, everything you'd worked for the past year became instantly irrelevant. 1000+ hours gone in one update. At that rate, they should have just released Destiny 2 and started us over.
And to the main course:
After Light 310, nothing in this game matters and everything becomes worthless. From the top:
-Vault of Glass: Worthless and needs 310 difficulty Heroic Mode
-Crota's End: Worthless and needs 310 difficulty Heroic Mode
-Vendors: Worthless after 300 TBH
-Crucible Playlists: Worthless after 300
-Vanguard Strikes: Worthless after 300
-Weekly Heroic Strikes: Worthless
-Buffed Nightfall: Worthless after 310
-Court of Oryx: Worthless after 300
-Iron Banner: Worthless after 290 (lol)
-Normal Kings Fall: Worthless after Hard Raid Release
-Moldering Shards: Enough Said
-Trials of Osiris: Only worth it if you go Flawless. Still Lackluster Rewards
-Xur: Worthless after 310 mainly due to lack of 320 drop chances
-Halloween Masks: Worthless. Should have allowed Infusion starting at zero light. Or used a Vanity Slot like in Terraria.
-Hard Mode Kings Fall: Worthless. The only point of doing the HM Raid is so you hopefully get gear to make next weeks HM Raid more bearable.
This game dies the second you hit 310.
Oh, and here's some food for thought!
After killing Atheon there are still Vex. After killing Crota there are still hive. After killing Skolas there are still Wolves. Not once do you get thanked by anyone from the tower for beating any one of these bosses. You beat Crota, here's a box of raisins Guardian.
There's no progression at all. The actual game never moves forward.
Proof: Long after Atheons been dead, Bungie literally tells us to go Kill Atheon, who's been dead by the way, for the No Time To Explain.
This literally proves that we've made no progress against the darkness, vex, hive, or fallen. In one year, we haven't actually done anything to save the Earth. GG Bungie, way to drop the ball.
Also,
The Queen dies literally right after you save her from the Wolves. What in the actual hell. Like, here's a DLC to save the queen just so you can pay 40$s to watch her die anyways.
TLDR Edition:
After 310, all other events and activities become lackluster and pointless.
Infusions just a chore.
No progression or sense of winning the war against the Darkness.

The whore who made you grind rep so you could exchange materials from crota raid said thanks to me loads of times.
-
1 ReplyI don't want to be a douche but I feel like I'm replaying shit over and over again just to level up and it seems boring doing that, yeah it was cool for a couple of weeks but now I'm willing to get a new multiplayer focused game.
-
Destiny is more like a 'unwind after work with mind numbing tasks' then an actual game which requires skill. I still have alot to do though, due to real world responsibilities.
-
For a while i though ttk was great. But now im going to have to agree with you. Losing interest very quickly in destiny. Like you said the only progression is to get gear to make the raid easier. No competition no leaderboards makes it seem very pointless to continue this grind
-
We didn't save the queen in house of wolves. Stop your bitching.

The first true and logical rant I've ever seen. Bravo.

1 ReplyWell said.

Sadly this is correct , not much to dispute in any of your post. All that is left is a light level chase towards 320 . The grind is no fun I'm sick of running the raid . I will run the raid on reset on hard and then leave the game . Once I have completed hard mode the game is completely dead until New content . Thankfully I never paid the 40 pounds for dlc I knew it was a rip off .

2 RepliesYou seem too attached.

Oh, and here I was last night looking for the post. I found it, but it was awaiting Ninja Justice. Guess someone didn't, or rather couldn't handle a point. Well points. Be that as it may I am a year one players, beta player really. And I agree with all of this. This game became insanity faster than the CoD series. Well it is fun insanity, but insanity none the less.

7 RepliesYou know I actually forgot why Halo was better than Destiny. Then I went and played Custom Games with 7 of my friends. I almost forgot that games were supposed to be fun.
-
6 RepliesAgreed. If next year bungie expels the year 2 equipment I would much rather have a clean slate with a completely new game. Maybe they should implement a new Destiny once they switch the galaxy we play in. For example once they are done with the earth like planets and the jovian planets. The new destiny should move away from the milky way galaxy and there on commence a new destiny era.

8 RepliesWelcome to the world of MMO-style games. If you don't like it, don't play.
-
2 RepliesYou obviously don't pay any attention to anything other than the names of the bad guys. Read some of the lore and you might understand why your arguments are foolish.
-
1 ReplyAgree with everything you've said. Only reason why I still play this game as much as I do is because of my friends and the crucible. But even the crucible isn't great because of all the lag and unbalanced guns.
-
4 RepliesIf they bumped up the light level for the old raids, made the lower light versions matchmade, and incorporated new loot to the old raids, suddenly we would have 4x the content to get through every week and some diversity of content as well but it does not seem like that is going to happen.
-
2 RepliesThe game become boring.
-
1 ReplyLest just admit that the light leveling system was wayyyyy better then this stupid new one. Cause we need every single damn item to increase our light. I think it's stupid what they are doing with the light system.
-
1 ReplyEveryone that bought ttk lost 70% of their game. I can't believe we payed money to lose content... like we had a choice
-
3 RepliesSad... But very very true
-
This is why it's not a good idea to splurge on gaming, it ruins the experience
-
3 RepliesPrepare yourself for non-arguments. Apparently people don't understand the concept of wanting an even better game, admitting a game's failures, or having developers listen to their feedback and incorporate. Like Terraria. It's a pretty awesome example of user feedback.

1 ReplyHmm, I was going to write this very post. Thanks for doing it for me. The only thing I would add is 3 of coins are useless after 310.
