I beat the Campaign!.....I think? Whats next?!
Hey guys! New to Destiny, but learning and loving it! SO I think I just beat the vanilla campaign? I beat the Heart of The Black Garden mission and got The Strangers Rifle. I believe that's the end of the Destiny game? I have the Dark Below, House of Wolf and The Taken King. I want to know if A: Did I beat the game? and B: Whats next? I know Dark Below was the 1st DLC so I need to start with that. Is "The Sword of Crota" from Eris the first Dark Below mission? Thank you in advance!

Time to finish all your quests, do the raids, get all exotics, fully level up your subclasses, and all that other stuff so get going Guardian!

You have a ton of content to work through, if you actually attempt/clear all of it. Strikes, bounties, VOG raid, normal and hard mode, Crotas end, normal and hard mode, PoE (skolas mechanics are good to learn as they are utilized somewhat in the Kings Fall raid. All of the story missions for TDB, HOW, TTK. Then you have all the ttk hidden missions, raid.... Pack extra food and clothes, you going to be here a while :)

Dark below, house of wolves, then the taken king Dark below is super short so it shouldnt take too long, and how is cool enough to be worth playing

If your playing in order, dark below is next. However taken king is what I would do.

I don't know what console you have but if you're on PS4 feel free to add me. Me and my buddies can take you through the Vault of Glass. It's still one of the funnest experiences to be had in Destiny.

1 ReplyThis game is unusual, since it's all online. You never really beat it. You did beat the original story, but that's really just the start. Most people are around level 20 at that point and that's where the game really opens up. Before that, it's kind of like an intro/training mode. I think the first Dark Below mission is The Fist of Crota (that's who you fight, I'm not 100% sure that's the name of the mission). The missions will open up as you go, just like they did in the original story.

3 RepliesYes you have beat the original story. The first mission for the Dark Below is the 'Fist of Crota'. Once you done that you should play some strikes and maybe even try the Vault of Glass, located on Venus. Though you'll need 6 people for that.

This guys has months of content to enjoy. Heh man don't feel rushed to do it all. Just take your time leveling up your character :)

1 ReplyDefinitely check out the strikes from vanilla, get up to around 30, do VoG, get started on TDB. The end game content is cool, you'll be ranked up soon enough. Hope you enjoy yourself.

You beat the vanilla CAMPAIGN, yes, but if you enjoy this game, there are hundreds, maybe even a thousand hours worth of things to experience. Doesn't mean everything will be brand new, but there is a lot one can get out of this game. Next I would do the campaigns of the other dlc's and maybe try the old raids/Poe. Also, you are at the point where you might want to look into acquiring exotic weapons. Lastly, the endgame of destiny is far different from the story, just keep that in mind, and don't forget to enjoy yourself.

When you do poe for the fierst time on any character as long as you have a treasure key you will recieve a [i][u]year one[/u][/i] exotic

Yup. Start on the sword of crota mission. There's not a lot from the dark below dlc mission wise so you should run through it pretty quick. Good luck

The black garden is the end of the story but there are a couple other missions that can be completed before or after it. Check the planets to see if you missed any. Yes sword of Crota is the first mission, both TDB And HoW questlines are named after their dlc's.

2 RepliesYes you beat the vanilla destiny story, and unless you count the raid you basically beat vanilla destiny. First of Crota is the first mission of "the dark below". Then house of wolves, then start TTK on the mission on Phobos attached to the Mars node.
