why even give out chest Engrams⚠️⁉️
put in a three of coins finally dropped a exotic engram got a -blam!-in chest.. looked at my blank wall *Pepe sad frog face* for like 12 seconds going over what just happened because I knew it would turn into my 15th chest of alpha lupi and you know what?? It DID -_-

Save them until you hit 300 light then decrypt them for a chance at a 310 exotic and use it for infusion fuel.

1 ReplyYeah they didn't do shit to the rng to make it better! 65 three of coins (used in strikes, patrol, no exploits) and I got 4 chest engrams and 1 helmet! This is purely from this week too. Each chest engram became a crest of alpha lupi for ether Titan or hunter. Earlier weeks (all drops) I got 5 special engrams, each became a hereafter, then one primary, became a last word (total garbage gun!) but I had found 23 of those guns total In year one! How does my first engram end up giving me that!?!? 7 gauntlet engrams and got 5 ruin wings, and 2 no backup plans. Like seriously? And 6 helmets and they all became ether the stag or empyrean. Rng has not been imporoved even slightly

3 RepliesAs a titan, you get 1 chest. But you also have the extreeemly, and again! EXTREMELYYYYY rare chance of obtaining the twillight garrisons ( year 2 chest ) from decrypting. Again, its insane rare!

1 ReplyTry decrypting it on a warlock. There are a few more options there. I believe crest of alpha is the only chest that can decrypt for Titans and hunters, but on a warlock you can get alchemist raiments, Voidfang vestments, and heart of praxic Fire

As a Titan it is unbelievably infuriating..... Because according to every chest piece I've ever gotten that was FOR a Titan, and the exotic armor store thing.... We get one frikkin chest. One. The Crest of Alpha Lupi..... Where the f@*& is my Armamentorium... Why do Titans only get one chest to choose from for year 2?

3 RepliesFrom what I understand, it's a limited pool of exotics at the moment. That's possibly one reason so many repeat. There's just not much to choose from right now. However, bungie supposedly fixed it so it doesn't repeat as much but that doesn't seem to work either. You would still get duplicates but I would think it would spread out more 3 of coins is good if you don't have exotics yet. Once you have a few new ones though, it's probably better to save them until more exotic loot is in the reward table

I've been given 16 Insurmountable Skullsforts... Why make it a point to say that you have improved the drop system Bungie? It almost seems like they are F'ing with us sometimes. Like you, I feel no excitement at all associated with getting exotic engrams.

Keep decoding them. Everything you guys want are extremely rare drops. But there have been reports of people picking these exotics up already. Through chest engrams. It's just a very...very rare drop. Try not to get discouraged. I'm personally hunting for the Twighlight Garrison.

Maybe they really want you to use it! Bladedancers with the crest become revival specialists.

You have to wait for the other exotics to be released. Idk if saving your engrams will work. This is just my opinion/theory tho. I think some Exotics amour pieces are locked away just like some weapons are.
