11 RepliesI'm very intrigued by a particular group of people who decide to bash the military and claim that those who served don't deserve any respect or at least to see the post and leave it alone. These are the ultra liberal people who are less than stand up individuals obviously. These are the people that we serve. Granted the last decade of warfare wasn't the most clear cut and we didn't do it just to help the government out. However we did do it. We grabbed our balls and got to work. Not because the government needed us but because the guy next to us needed us. These people who are less than brave and less than deserving of male genetalial will not understand and cannot be made to understand our tragedies or triumphs through words or force. They will not know the feelings we experienced or the horror or the joy. The people that continuously wish to verbally take away from our experiences weren't there. They are not the alpha population. They are the sheep. And we are the sheep dogs. Their opinions do not matter. I am not a doctor so I do not speak out about medical issues. I am not an engineer so I do not speak about flaws in machinery. I am not an architect so I do not speak about flaws in structural engineering. However I am a soldier and I know warfare and I know it's intracacies. I will speak about that. If you wish to speak out about something you know nothing of on the Internet I urge you to speak in person. The outcome will either surprise you or humble you. Professional tough guys as opposed to Internet tough guys is a world of difference. Carry on.
