Until some of my friends left.
I understand pain points with the game, but, I have a lot of fun with running missions/strikes/nightfalls with my friends. Some could not take the grind any more after The Dark Below released, which I understand, but it sucks nonetheless to have to solo the game in many pick up and play instances.

I ran solo for the longest time, had fun doing bounties and patrol and didn't raid at all, until recently I started picking up random friends and started to raid, which was amazing fun. Turned out to be the Kiss of death... Now the rest of the game is incredibly boring if my friends aren't online or I don't find a pickup raid group. Tried running the daily heroic alone and couldn't stand it. Patrols are just annoying, I don't even bother looking for public events. It's one way or the other in this game.
