I realized that raiding (an integral part of PvE for top gear) has a 1/wk cap on the loot table and that once I did my nightfall/weekly, capped my current gear and got nothing but shards from all, I had nothing else to do other than play something else

To be clear on 31 - I have an addictive personality (see point 1) and with games I normally have to do everything I can, get everything I can and rinse for achievements. I love the gameplay in Destiny but the Raids have just not piqued my interest, it hasn't spurred me on in the slightest to do what I normally HAVE to do in a game. I have never played a game for this long, but its the first that I don't feel connected with or have that sense of 'gotta have/do everything). Its the gameplay that does it for me now. But I split my time with GTA now. Maybe I'm just getting older or something!
