The way I see it if you build a solid game that is single player the want of multiplayer follows along afterwards... There's so many good single player games that have high demand for multiplayer options ... Or expanded multiplayer options... Like cooping Eldon ring or dark souls.... The big multiplayer project for Skyrim and fallout.... You see that demand all the time in the mods that are made.... But get stupidly shot down over license and copyright BS.... Missing out on free money if you build a solid single player game and then let people co-op it or multiplayer it and then add in player versus player afterwards it's a genuine expansion to the game that is in demand but if that's (multiplayer) your opener and no one wants it you have nothing because the game cannot survive without multiplayer or online if that's the focus It has nothing to lean back on... And that's why so many live services die so fast there's no demand in an oversaturated genre.... There's only so many players and they can only play one game at a time

If they build a game with single player in mind, you typically get a campaign and story(doesn't mean its good). I appreciate campaigns and a good story, but I get bored running things solo. That's why, of your choices I personally like single player games that allow multiplayer. Kinda like how destiny was.
