Today I received my first ever Destiny 2 PvP matchmaking restriction (2 weeks) for supposedly using an ustable internet connection...
This makes zero sense as my 1 Gig Verizon Internet is fully wired from my router to my PS5 console, using high speed internet cable (pictures of my internet connection speed and quality included in the above imgur link).
I’ve also posted this under dmg04 twitter account (my internet speed & stability)

Bungie… please remember that almost nobody plays D2 PvP anymore (so it is you… matchmaking players from all over the world on your peer to peer connections) - so how is that my fault ???
Fyi… I have already filled an appeal. But there is no timeline when my appeal will be reviewed.

Can you achieve open nat vs type 2? Type 2 in theory is a good place to be, but I have seen other threads with many people complaining in d2 specifically, they run into errors being behind a router firewall like that. Type 2 suggest the proper ports are forwarded, but its worth looking into.

3 RepliesThe appeal guy has moved to marathon until may, sorry brother. Better go play marathon, you're not suspended there.
