The 2 most annoying factions.

Takens and Dreads in my opinion is the most annoying enemy faction to fight. ------------------------TAKEN--------------------- THRALLS: Constant zigzag teleport, annoying to hit so your best option most of the time is just to wait for them to teleport up to you. PSIONS: Duplicates even after they died. Just a waste of time and annoying, even more so on higher difficulties. WIZARDS: Just like their Hive counterpart, they will shoot like a thousand slow moving shots a second that if you are close to them is an insta kill. PHALANX: They use the worst game mechanic ever made, Knockback. They will rush up to you just to knock you away from them. Real fun and because Bungie knows how to program, their attacks like other, can go straight through objects and hit you. HOBGOBLIN: Punishes you for shooting it by shooting tracking blast shots. Worse is the Overload version. Every hit causes them to shot you with Retaliation swarm shots. Tedious and sometimes near impossible to stun. KNIGHTS: Insanely overpowered fire attack. Seriously their fire attack can kill you in a millisecond. It takes up a big area and last for awhile. OGRE: Every single shot is a knockback attack. It is very easy to get pinned up against the wall or launched out of the map. Not to mention their other uniques. Taken goo on the grounds that deals damage over time, Blight domes that damage over time is often bugged and will kill you nearly instantly. Then of course the Taken rifts that shoots blights that can deal infinite damage. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------DREAD--------------------- GRIMS: Not really much to say here, flying enemies are not the most favorable ones. Tracking shots, dashing and Suppression attacks. TORMENTORS: Strong tracking shots, a turret that most won't know you can destroy and of course the constant Suppression attack. Weaver and Attendants PSIONS: Constantly flinging you across the map or freezing you. HUSK: On death they will spawn a tracking missile that deals insane damage. Strand and Stasis SUBJUGATOR: Suspension and insane base attacks. Slow and insane Shatter damage, That is when he wants to shatter it that is. Kind of random. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These are in my opinion 2 of the most annoying enemies in the game. Luckily there isn't that many Dread type enemies, but it wouldn't surprise me if Bungie added more.

  • For me it’s Vex and Scorn. I love the taken, they are my favourite faction. I have always hated the vex al last purely because of the hobgoblins. That immune thing they do has always got on my nerves. But that was my only complaint about the vex in D1. In D2 however there are more: their crit spots don’t always register precision hits/kills when you definitely did score one (this is particularly noticeable on Minotaurs), I HATE the new flying enemy, the Imp Swarm. Does not feel great unloading an entire machine gun onto the core only for 5 out of a hundred of the rounds to actually register as hits. And I hate what they have done to them recently in the lore. They are supposed to be this cold, unfeeling, super intelligent race but no, bungie just HAD to reduce them to card players… The Scorn I think speak for themselves on this issue. The crossbows still do too much damage and that annoying smoky invincible/invisible thing they constantly do gives me rage like nothing else. Just not fun at all to play against.

Real fun and because Bungie knows how to program, their attacks like other, can go straight through objects and hit you.[/quote] As with all Stomp/Boop attacks, using a melee attack when close to your attacker will completely negate forced movement if timed properly while a Sword swing, Icarus Dash, Thruster or diving Ability will kill your momentum if used after getting launched. If you’re in a fight where getting Booped/Stomped is highly likely, try to spend as little time airborne as possible as being hit while in the air will launch you much further/faster than if you are grounded. And if you do end up being launched without the means to kill your momentum [b][u]do not[/u][/b] immediately react by activating Warlock Glide or Titan Lift as they are both greatly influenced by your current momentum and can make the launch much worse. It is very easy to get pinned up against the wall or launched out of the map.[/quote] While close range melee attacks are generally less helpful here compared to instant Boops/Stomps, the other advice for halting your momentum and avoiding Glide/Lift can still benefit you here. Tedious and sometimes near impossible to stun.[/quote] While engaging Taken Hobgoblins at a distance it is quite easy to dodge their retaliation strikes; just wait until the shots are about to reach you then move laterally. You should avoid engaging with Overload Hobgoblins in close quarters unless you have the means to [b]quickly[/b] stun them in order to avoid the retaliation spam. [quote]HUSK: On death they will spawn a tracking missile that deals insane damage. [/quote] Killing Husks with Finishers or Precision shots will prevent them from launching their homing shots. Alternatively these death attacks can be shot out of the sky if necessary. [quote]Strand and Stasis SUBJUGATOR: Suspension and insane base attacks. Kind of random.[/quote] Try to engage Strand and Stasis Subjugators from a distance and with nearby cover available, that way you have a better chance of evading Suspension/Crystal attacks. And the following is more of a niche suggestion as it may not always be available, but activating your Super will [b]immediately[/b] break you out of Suspension; roaming Supers have the added benefit of causing any Suspensions to quickly end if they are applied to you while the Super is active. (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

      You don’t need to finisher husks. Just precision kills. But yeah I hate taken

          For the record the stasis psions are called attendants. I also agree 100%, specifically those two factions are the most annoying and irritating out of all of them. Especially those taken phalanxes. Lightspeed Guardian 🫡
