Bungie, PLEASE look at your matchmaking system in Trials
I have been playing trials on a 7 win card so I can farm adepts and since I’m farming on this card, the matchmaking is supposedly based on my weekly performance, that’s what it says on the trials launch node and on the passage itself. I’m currently playing at a 1.16KD weekly, since it is based on weekly performance I should be matching with people around that level. For some reason, I am matching with people who are 3.0 or 4.0KD which is not fair.
Alongside that, the team-balancing in this game is terrible, how does the game think that putting all the 1.0KDs on one team and match them against people who are 3.0KDs think that the game is fair?
Continuing on, the chance to receive adepts weapons when you win games feels like my time is wasted because with these matchmaking issues, you have to:
1) Win a match (which can be very hard when playing solo in an unbalanced match)
2) Pray that you get an adept drop
I understand that having a 100% drop rate on a win will be unhealthy for the game since players would be drowning in loot, but when it feels like I finally get a win and not an adept, it feels like the win is irrelevant and a waste of time.
Trials is rewarding but it is so unbalanced to the point it’s matchmaking makes the mode feel like a slot machine, if you’re lucky you will get a balanced match, but most of the time is is unbelievably unbalanced.

Low playerbase especially in trials dosent help so the matches are bound to be unbalanced as hell. Compares D1 trials to currrent trials. Sure D1 trials wasn’t balanced either but it felt more consistent even if it was dog water. Now it’s just garbage with 0 consistency.

Low player count = unbalanced matchmaking. They’re making it easier to get rewards because they see the player base dying down.

It's missing a key factor...........the playerbase amount required for it to function.

I always say that they need to go back to halo 2 system. It usually was a very competitive matchups.

lol line what are you expecting ?! Destiny pvp in general is going down the plug hole . The player numbers are so low surprised that people still playing comp and trials 🤷🏼♂️

2 RepliesI went on a 10 losing streak to people that were mostly the top 1 percent. I’m not sure if it’s just bad timing or I’m just really unlucky.

Not enough people are playing trials in order to have matchmaking accomodate to your liking sir. Thats how it is. Unless you want to wait 30min per match.

6 RepliesThe population in trials is very low you will be matched with the tryhards they can’t do anything about iT. The average joe that plays the game refuses to step into trials they see no reason to play it

matchmaking means nothing when the gun everyone wants is available and it's still on life support.
