This game has the worst PVP i've ever played
It's literally a case of use shotguns, fusion rifles, snipers, or supers or else you lose. Then there's the heavy weapons on top of that. What do all of these have in common? One hit kill weapons, and they require no skill. Coming from the developers that made Halo, one of the best PVP games it's just dissapointing.

Scout Rifles and Auto Rifles are perfectly viable.

I do think the special and heavy weapon ammo is a little too common. You can basically main a shotgun/fusion rifle/sniper rifle. I would like to see that tweaked. Besides that there's the issue that the autorifle is the best real main weapon for about 75% of your encounters in PvP. Needs to be much less accurate/ stable

I only pick heavy ammo up when there is one of those boxes in a 50m radius. Otherwise I do not care about that. What's so funny about that, you think? It's the fact that I use most of my time nothing else then my.. uhm.. I don't know how it's called in english.. I only use my "3-shot burst rifle". Most of the time I have an K/D of 2, sometimes it's even 5 or higher. This game still is about skill.. this also means that you should avoid close combat fights with people that use shotguns all the time :p Hold your discance to those guys and they are nothing more then free kills. Keep moving while attacking snipers and most of them are free kills as well. Rocket launchers are also kinda useless in my opinion. But this may be just a personal thing. I've never been good with rocket- or grenadelaunchers :)

7 RepliesI can't stand how the radar functions in this game. How is it competitive if everyone just knows where u r at all times and can one shot kill u with a fusion rifle or special? They really need to change that. U show up on radar when u fire.

1 ReplyLook at my K/d. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. I use handcannons every game, barely touch my shotgun, and only pick up heavy ammo when my team is around to share. Git gud scrub, don't criticize something just because you're bad at it.

2 RepliesThe worst part is at the core there is a really good game here. Right away it was fun, but now everyone uses long range shotguns, and has a ton of one hit kill abilities. You die faster than COD most of the time.

1 ReplyTotally agree its pretty bad. I was thinking earlier there should be some kind of hardcore mode for pvp something along the lines of the following; No Radar, No Vehicles, No Supers, No Heavy Weapons, No starting ammo for secondaries.

So much truth. It seems the Microsoft guys had more input into the Halo games than Bungie would like to admit. It's not a bad game but it is definitely the most child friendly I have ever played. Be prepared for the all the bad kids to attack you: "nuh uh! my nova bomb takes skills!"

7 RepliesIn the beginning I loved the PvP. Now it's a one hit kill fest, whether it be a shotgun/sniper/fusion or some other retarded ability. Don't even get me started on how overpowered the Bladedancer hunters are.

The PvP is very broken. They need to patch it without super charge, balance the damage and have a more intuitive radar. Also they need to nerf all of the legendary items and reset everyone's counters to 0. The Titan kills are out of control. A team of titans with auto rifles is almost unbeatable. They juggle supers from orb drops and can dominate a map. Yes it's very broken and we shouldn't all have to play one class to even the playing field.

I agree, the PVP is complete shit. HOWEVER, it's not what makes this game, it's just ancillary.

LOVIN pvp, rank doesn't mean crap in destiny. I played two games and have gotton 25+ kills. I know it's not great, but for my first two matches I'm satisfied. I also love how fast paced the game is.

2 RepliesIts PvP is laughably bad. More so than the terrible gameplay is the connection issues. I swear I play at 500+ ping. This game has more delay than any other fps ive played in my life by a mile.

I agree 100%. I won't even play it on my Xbox account after the PS4 account. it's nothing but gimmicky nonsense. This is by far the worst PvP I have played.
