4 RepliesStar Wars Republic Commando book series. The books had a darker, more realistic gritty tone for war. Most soldiers follow orders with strict discipline. No mind chip mumbo-jumbo. Also having Mandalorian instructors under Jango Fett be the basis for ARC and RC units developed a Mandalorian culture that set the commandos as very different from a regular clones. In this setting the Mandalorians are as they should always be, nomadic warriors with no set home-world but utilizing Mandalore the planet as a base of operations and production for MandalMotors shipyards. This wouldn't be some kiddy cartoon, it would be like a war-series R-rated Star Wars depicting the true brutality of having a halved-lifespan as an expendable clone/slave built to fight and die for something you would never see or experience.

31 RepliesEdited by jhermannITJ: 4/13/2026 9:57:12 PMDrizzit. The Dark Elf Trilogy. But it's never going to probably happen. Because of licensing/IP disputes. Swords of the Coast has done almost nothing with it... he barely had a whisper in BG3... because Larian wasn't allowed. For clarification TSR had, now SotC... realms, like a multiverse... they weren't always kept separate... for example Elminster is in both Dragonlance and The Forgotten Realms. Where Baldur's Gate is... where Drizzit... I pronounce it Drizzt is from. The dispute is between the creator and SotC. When they tried to let others write for the character... which failed, he split. And probably has cause for litigation but has never followed through... And SotC has barely done anything with the Dark Elf since. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R._A._Salvatore He also wrote the Clerical Quintet... about another amazing character Cadderly... and SotC nuked that too after Salvatore left. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Clerical_Quintet Either of these could be amazing films. Pikel by himself could sell 'The Clerical Quintet'. He's a mute Dwarf that becomes a druid of nature... the very first. Blessed by a God. He's awesome. Pikel "Doo -dad". 😂 He had a donkey named Bobo. A funny and gentle spirit, Pikel... until his friends are in danger or need help. Kind of a low key bad**** druid. He could have his own movie.

Edited by Sumpig-2: 4/14/2026 2:12:06 AMMagician by Raymond E Fiest as a 1:1 show would be neat. Animation would probably make it easier. Absolutely wouldn’t trust anyone to do it right without changing things though.

Edited by lonewolf-qc: 4/14/2026 1:50:29 AMI would love a trilogy about the Dragons trilogy (Dragons of Autumn Twilight, Dragons of Winter Night, Dragons of Spring Dawning) from Dragonlance. I would also love a trilogy about the Dark Elf trilogy (Homeland, Exile, Sojourn) from Forgotten Realms. They would have to make movies. Edit: Maybe a 10 episodes season for each books.
