Attacks consume too much super energy and its over before you can even have any fun and actually make a difference in encounters. The projectiles also have awful tracking and I regularly watch them fail to connect with Cabal enemies jetpacking.
The function even seems to "get confused" when shot between two separate enemies as though the projectiles can't decide between left or right and then curve upward and keep going straight.

1 ReplyNo. Its the best roaming super. Its projectiles have better tracking than skip grenades and can curve around corners like nothing else. If anything silence and squall needs a buff. Because a storm grenade does better damage AND add clear.

I agree in PVE only and I think it could move a bit faster.

Warlocks have the best Stais subclass and super by a mile and still cry about it -blam!- hell get a grip.

It’s not a damage super it’s a CC super. And it’s the best at it. Duration is fine because what you’re going to use it for, you don’t need to pulse enemies out of the freeze. In pve the super is fine.

1 ReplyYou mean storm trance right?…. Right?
-
3 RepliesOh no, you whinelocks stay away from stasis >:(

5 RepliesIts not great for killing anything more than red bars, but its a phenomenal CC tool. Just freeze everything/that big threatening thing until your teammates are able to clear them/nuke it. Just dont use the shatter pulse 😁

6 RepliesOk no you clearly don’t know how to use this super so Ice Staff warlock main gonna teach you. First put on gloves that give double coldsnap grenade Second make 2 turrets Third cast super let turrets Freeze and all you have to do Is spam shatter or heavy attack This does not drain super you are welcome

Edited by Chucky: 11/8/2022 2:05:49 PMTbh the utility is that strong I don’t mind if no damage buff, the super energy cost for the projectiles is way to heavy though
-
I agree
-
Damage? I dont think its necessary. I wouldnt be against it if they did, but its not something the super really needs. Duration? blease...
-
To be fair, the "shatter" attack consumes no super energy at all. Imo what it really needs is a movement speed buff. I would personally like for them to remove shatter through walls but there's more pressing issues.
-
4 RepliesIdk. The shatter damage does some crazy numbers if you put on the fragment that boosts it. The tracking could use a boost in PvE though. It’s crowd control. Does a good job at that.

6 RepliesI would rather see a projectile velocity buff, I'm fine with the damage and duration
