Anyone remember the Windego pinnacle quest?
Anyone remember?
I remember loading The Corrupted strike and using a speeder to go do The Blind Well just for collecting all those orbs of power.
It sucked it was mandatory to do in strikes specifically. Awesome to grind out Blind Well though.
Now look at what we gotta do to get ritual weapons… “do core playlist activities, max rank in a core play list”
Wooo 😑
Suggestion, make ritual weapons apart of seasonal content rank up. Not seasonal pass. Like how we had reputation at the star chart. Should’ve included the grenade launcher ritual in that rank up as well.
You want us playing the content. It’s another incentive to do so.

Core playlist activities are all garbage and filled with 5-year-old content. No new drops except once per new Season, and no major updates or refreshes. We've only gotten content taken out of them, and any content added is old and recycled. Nobody wants to play the same garbage core playlists that Bungie continues to ignore and let languish. There's no creativity in their quests or objectives anymore. Go here. Scan thing. Kill enemy (probably the same 5-year-old garbage Red Legion Cabal for peak recycling). Play X core playlist activity Y times. Wowee, I can't wait to grind out two Gambit rank resets to get its skin for the same mediocre seasonal grenade launcher, and repeat this same boring af gameplay "loop" every new Season... not!

Hmm. Sad memory of grinding away just for them to delete it (Sunset, how poetic...) along with hundreds of other games hours. But, no, it wasn't ideal at all. It involved getting a massive kill count using GLs, which was tedious in the extreme.

Worst part is having to do every ritual rank up twice just to get the ornaments. Should be able to do the activities you like to get the weapon and the ones you don't to get ornaments.
