Freelance trials needs to be permanent
Like come on bungie this hole situation with trails don’t require solo que against 3 stacks matchmaking is still a problem

Right now you're gonna get people to carry (or you are the carry) and then you go against a team. Not great odds. Solos just usually get a wide range of skill represented on their teams that teams don't. Make this change and that goes away and the playerbase doesn't have to split.

16 RepliesFreelance in every game mode, should be permanent. That is where you implement sbmm. What you will gain is a more diverse player base, and give new players a chance to develop. Then they can form teams and go up against others with the same advantage in team mode play where the loot pool opens up with premier rolls and weapons. FREELANCE IS THE FUTURE BUNGIE!

Worst part is you get on a 5 or 6 win streak and it pairs you up with the worst players known to man kind. Last time I was on a 5 win streak it gave me a .19kd player and a .39kd, it’s like that game wants to prevent you from going flawless as a solo.

Yes! Please bring back freelance. I've been trying to play Trials and "get gud." Even watching good pvp players on YouTube and following their advice. But I still get completely clobbered every match. 10+ games in and I have not won a single one. Trials freelance weekend and the first weekend they introduced matchmaking have been the best experiences by far.

At the very least once a month. You miss a week for ib and have two normal weeks or rotate it month to month where the 2nd month would have 2 freelance weekends.

11 RepliesIt would only become a permanent playlist if trials population would be consistently high every weekend. As it turns out, trials is QUICKLY bleeding players, for a myriad of reasons. Trials just doesn’t have ANYTHING that casuals and pve players would consider it worth their trouble after being slaughtered in game again and again. Upgrade materials are NOT enough. No one really farms adepts, so flawless means nothing to a large amount of the population. They’ll settle for the non adept versions, and you know what? It’ll take probably just 2 weekends to get EVERY trials weapon roll they want, with how RIDICULOUSLY easy (yet frustrating) to get trials engrams. Not to mention that focusing cuts grind to ABYSMAL levels. People that have ALL their rolls will NEVER return to trials this season. Week 1 matchmaking WON’T bring them back. Don’t accept everything streamers say. Freelance on its own does NOT bring these people back into trials. Next season will have 1 or 2 new weapons. They’ll get their roll in less then 2 weeks, then they’re out of trials for the rest of the season again. Case and point… Trials simply CAN’T attract a wide enough audience of casual and pve mains long term. Bungie probably needs to accept this harsh truth at this point, before the playlist collapses again…

3 RepliesTrials in it's current state is a waste; not only do you have to deal with stacks, but you have to deal with to many damn potato's.... I'm not going to even bother playing Trials in it's current state. I'll pick my play back up once Freelance comes back. It's just not worth it for me....

Just a side note on why flawless pool is dumb... My bud and I two stack and go flawless friday and saturday no problem... Flawless pool comes out and every team we face is stacked and our solo is a person who got carried earlier in the week, but is a 0.5 and dies instantly every round. Not saying the 0.5 shouldn't try to have fun, but seriously it is painful. Just painful.

4 RepliesNo it shouldn't. If you want a solo mode for solos that's designed for solos. Then get Bunge to add Rumble as a sub mode in Trials. If you're against that then you're evidently not thinking about solos properly.
