Is it possible to add a "Shooting" game to Crucible?
Current games are perfect (don't troll me). I was thinking adding a new game which involves more aiming and shooting and less freezing, burning, ... stuff.

They aren't going to do anything for this game anymore, not anything of real merit. They're making plenty of $$$ as is. It's all about the $$.

The ones that made Griff ball, big team battle, Swat, fiesta, swords, pistols, heavies only, 4v4, ranked comp, dedicated servers, map forging, etc yeah they all gone bro. Enjoy your control nobody plays right and what 3 other modes? Oh yeah remember this company gave you the ability to vote on maps, yeah you guys cry to get one new map for Christmas winter time. These ain’t the same folks we loved...

4 RepliesAll these people saying play cod or halo are clueless. They act like all these shooters have the same shooting mechanics and feel as destiny. Destiny is one of a kind with the shooting aspect. Which is why we as a community tend to stick around even when content is dry. I agree with you bro and that would be fun as hell.

Destiny carries your abilities into pvp, that’s what made it unique. Maybe reducing the cool down might help.

3 RepliesOr, and hear me out, we should ask Bungie to make a decision. Is this going to be a mmo/rpg with space magic and amazing gunplay, or a pvp fps? Because the vast majority of successful/popular mmo rpg's out there don't have a pvp element. The kind of sandbox tuning needed for pve will never match with what is fair/balanced in pvp. Ever. Especially after pvp went 6v6. We need to stop arguing over which is better, or what the priority should be, and instead force Bungie to make the call. Is it going to be a fun pve experience with a crazy (maybe that means shitty) pvp, or is this turned into another pvp only free to play game? Because it's obvious that they can't make both work in the same game. What I would like to see is Bungie spin Crucible off into it's own game. It has its own armor and weapons. Some would probably just be straight ports (like Luna's or Recluse), others would be new. If you've already earned pinnacles, they would unlock automatically. If not, they could be earned through gameplay. Weapons in the new game would have random rolls, with the possibility of a curated roll with perks specific to pvp. They could make it free to play as it probably would need fewer resources than it's does now, and go back to Destiny being purchase necessary so they could support more/better pve content.

7 RepliesAbilities are apart of game skill. If you want gun play, burn your enemy's abilities and position yourself to do so. Bumrushing with shotguns and sitting in the back of the map with a sniper are not skill. Nor is kill clip.

So, don’t get me wrong, I personally am kinda partial to the concept,... However,...seeing how as Guardians are empowered heroes of the past,...and Bungie is also responsible for Halo: Rise of the Guardians,... Wouldn’t that just be playing Halo?!?
