jotunn nerf
i think the best way to go about this is just giving it more agressive damage falloff, it shouldn't be dueling with me in bow/ sniper range
the trackings very annoying but that's an intentional perk. the explosion radius is also very annoying but again that's intentional
theres nothing listed about why it's range is so massive however. i think the charge time for the tracking shoot could be increased aswell
take away:
slight nerf to charge time, hard nerf to range
before anymore of you comment, i have thumbs and know how to move them but thanks for the very valuable imput.

Personally it’s easy to dodge when it’s just one person using it but when I go up against an entire team all letting loose with it, there’s nothing you can do. Also all these people saying the tracking is bad are spitting bs that -blam!- literally goes around corners. I agree with the range nerf cuz I’m tired of having 3 skillless players spamming me with fireballs lmao.

6 RepliesJotunn is only effective in very specific situations, and against low skill players. There is nothing wrong with it. Almost nobody uses it, and most people that do use it are the ones that rely in it's tracking. It's pretty easy to dodge majority of the time, especially when you're talking about sniper/bow range. If you're having issues combating it at that range, it just means that you don't know how to be mobile enough to avoid it. Rather than trying to nerf a weapon that isn't broken, why don't you just get better?

4 RepliesIt's not even a good weapon against good players. Increase your mobility. Sometimes it goes balls out and gets an outrageous kill, but usually it just breaks tracking or hits a box or a rock.

3 RepliesHunters don’t mind Jottun, because they can dodge every ten seconds. Try playing as a warlock and you will how limited our lateral movement is. I agree with a nerf, because it behaves more like a rocket launcher, instead of a fusion rifle.

It's a crappy weapon. I feel crappy using it and definitely crappy dying from it, but its fine. Just don't be ADSing when you hear the bell sound and strafe hard.

I’ve never seen a range nerf suggestion and it doesn’t bring my stomach up thinking about it. It makes sense too given fusion rifles are typically short range weapons. Maybe not a HUGE range nerf but a medium one might not be terrible... IF it happened of course. It’ll at least soften the rage of players getting killed from not paying attention. I’m still fine with it the way it is.

Its annoying but not over powered. Its actually inconsistent at times. You are new to the game. They are ways to counter it and I never saw it in legend level comp.
