Give PvP players an ascendant shard for valor resets
Title.. for the sake of all that is good and wholesome In the multiverse. Give us a dang ascendant shard for valor resets. Please and thank you.

2 RepliesEdited by Draco13steel: 8/6/2020 10:30:43 PMCan we also add that an Ascendant shard should be given if you dismantle a masterwork item. Since one was used to create it. If you use the ones in pass, then find higher base points in a piece of gear you have essentially wasted the shard.

10 RepliesMade the same comment on another post a few months back. Considering I can farm Nightfalls and get a metric sh1t ton of mats, getting a shard for each reset ain't to much to ask. My system idea was the following: Brave: 3 cores Heroic: 5 cores Fabled: 2 prisms Mythic: 3 cores, 3 prisms Legend: 10 cores, 5 prisms Reset: Ascendant Shard This would give meaning and reason to farm ranks in PvP (at least for QP). I have farmed about 12 Master NF's this week and have gotten 34 prisms and 7 shards. Each run is 12 - 16 minutes. Do the math and I got all those mats in about 2 1/2 - 3 hours max.

Forcing them to play nightfalls is dumb AF. Forcing any player to play whatever activity is ridiculous. If a player likes to patrol all day, that’s his F.... thing. Reward that player! Every activity should have a chance to reward prisms, ascendant shards, exotics, catalysts! Bungie’s rng is profile based. It’s very easy for them to keep a balance between time played and rewards. Implement that shit!

While you are at it, I would like to suggest that when we break down a masterwork armor we should get at least one ascendant shard back, since we have to use 1-3.

1 ReplyI would say one for hitting legend glory and maybe every other valor reset since it's so easy to rank up most PvP things. If you need shards now, go hit up the GM NF, platinum guarantees 3

Is now the right time to return the everlasting argument of "dOn't fOrCe pve pLaYeRs iNto pvp fOr QuEsTs -git gud and play pvp or this quest/item is not meant for you" we always read here whenever a PvE-Player complains about being forced into PvP modes for stuff? I mean, finally it is the other way round. PvP Players complaining about having to do PvE stuff.. Git gud and play the PvE if you want PvE rewards. /not serious. I don't care at all :D

2 RepliesYes and no. Give us a shard on only 3 valor resets per season as how if there is a valor booster, you can farm the shards in about 10 matches if you’re on a win streak.

Time to exploit the game mechanics then. Sure is a shame that I already know a way to afk farm valor that doesnt break bungies terms of service in the slightest.

Considering how wide spread win trading is on Xbox they should reward players that play mostly pvp but don’t cheat or pay for trials. I can’t tell you how many people on my friends list that aren’t pvp players have 15 flawless tickets which means 15 shards and zero games they actually played. Destiny tracker is hard to look at and I don’t blame the players as much as I blame bungie for allowing cheating to break the game so much.
