SIX MAN FIRETEAMS ON PATROL PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TITLE.
We need good fireteams for public events! We struggled with the sereph towers because it's so hard getting into the same server as other fireteams of three in the same party.
PLEASE BUNGIE FOR FUTURE PUBLIC EVENTS THAT ARE HARD, PLEASE MAKE SIX MAN FIRETEAMS IN PATROL A THING. IT WOULD ALSO BE GREAT FOR GROUPS OF FOUR WHEN THEY WANT TO DO BOTH PVE AND PVP ACTIVITIES. PLEASE!

All they need to do is make one small change and this problem goes away. If they change what happens when you leave a FireTeam on Patrol from the current "Go To Orbit" to "Create a New Fire Team of one", then the problem is solved. So a 3 man Fire Team flies into Patrol Space somewhere. Two of the people leave the Fire Team, now creating 3 one man Fire Teams. Each of those Fire Teams invite 2 people and in 30 seconds, we now have a 9 man Fire Team on one server in Patrol space. I've been suggesting this for 2+ years now. Guess Bungle has gone Deaf or just too inept and lazy to care.

Lol bungie can barely keep the tower from crashing when it has to many people in that instance, sometimes itll crash with 3 Expecting them to keep an entire planet going would be like asking a toddler to drive a stick shift lol

F that. Make 6 man fire teams because you can have 100 ppl in a clan but can do only two things with 5 clan members. Raids and crucible

7 RepliesYou’d think they would if they want to be an MMO. 6 man fireteams for patrol with a max of 36 players in a destination zone. But I’d assume peer to peer can’t do that well. Probably why the truly MMO games have servers.

Patrol zones cap at 9 not 6. Larger fireteams is more fun and efficient.

We at Bungie decided that in order to support Destiny into the future we needed to reduce the Fireteam size to two. You're welcome.

I have made my own posts about his and I will never stop supporting every post about this until Bungie either stops making things like seraph towers that take so many people just for the sake of it and don’t let people take enough people.

The public events like they had with House of wolves to where you had to collect the keys from the chest? That was fun and players were always wanting to join up. There are so many things that are small things this company can do to make things more enjoyable, I just don't get why they don't at least try.

You can get 9 in a zone. Just have to be tricky.

7 RepliesGo with a full Fire Team. Go to the public event you want to grind. See if there is a solo player in the event somewhere. Ask them to invite two of your friends to his Fire Team. 9 times out of 10 they will because they want the clears and success as much as you do. Hell I have even invited some randoms to parties at times. No issues usually. 5 to 6 people all with communication and a common goal. Bass Ackwards sure and annoying that we have to do that to get the results we want but hey it's something. Used to do it all the time during Court of Oryx also.

I have not found an issue finding people personally and I stayed up until around 5 am playing (had the day off the next day which is today) and even then was finding at least 3-4 others which is plenty for this event

I don't care if they are easy or hard, just let us patrol in 6 man teams, there really is no reason not too. we can jerry rig the system so we can have up to 9 people if we put some effort but, we shouldn't have to do that and it would be far more fun to play with friends especially in the early stages of a season than hit up another public event with champions, that seemingly so many fail to realize you need a weapon with one of 3 champion mods on it. Let me coordinate with friends who will listen and work as a team.
