After specing out a 100 mobility hunter against a 12 mobility one sprint speed was the same. What is the point of mobility if it does not affect sprint speed.

Higher jumps, faster strafe speed, and I think it might give a longer slide distance but I’m not sure on that one
-
5 RepliesI'm pretty sure it does. I feel way slower if I'm running low mobility. It might not be much but it's noticeable.
-
1 ReplyMobility affects your BASE jump height, your strafe speed, your walking speed and your crouched walking speed.
-
1 ReplyEquip mida and mini mida with traction on your boots. The Flash!

Edited by Derrick374892: 10/21/2019 7:35:17 AMWhy would it
-
It effects base movement speed and jump height. So you can move faster with your gun readied and jump higher, you have to have a perk that effects your sprint speed if you want a faster sprint.
-
Top tree nightstalker with keen scout is faster but base speed hunter with no movement speed increases from subclass is significantly slower at 12 mobility compared to 100
-
2 RepliesMobility makes you jump higher and it does do something with sprint speed especially noticeable when using warlock or titan after playing on a hunter.

1 ReplyEveryone is going for pvp as an argument. While I agree I might add pve as well. I already hate the rushmonkeys that just want to go through activities as fast as possible. I like killing stuff on my way and get some bounties done but regularly get disrupted by the forced joning teammates because they already triggered the boss. Or imagine not getting any kills because the flash rushes on killing everything before you even get there. I like the idea of everyone sprinting same speed.

10 RepliesBecause it would be completely terrible for the game if you could make yourself run faster than some else. Why does no one understand this?
-
5 RepliesAgility would be more accurate than mobility.

1 ReplyReading the comments it seems that crucible once again stands in way of progress.

Cuz Bung

2 RepliesTruthfully, I'd prefer to not see road runners in Crucible.

3 RepliesEdited by Forest: 10/19/2019 6:13:46 AMDid you not play Call of Duty MW2 or BO2 ? Those knifes man. Plus it is already bad enough with shotgun apes and recluse users you really want to give them MORE mobility ?

5 RepliesEdited by Freak: 10/18/2019 7:00:56 PMIt affects crouching/walking, jumping and strafing. It’s strictly a PvP stat. No need to out strafe a Dreg. They didn’t want players to have different sprint speeds. Everyone would most likely always go for speed anyway so they just made the sprint speed all the same. Recovery and Speed are very important in PvP. Resilience doesn’t really matter in PvP because even if you max it out you still die by a Mida in 4 shots. It really doesn’t change the damage you take by that much. Kind of useless in PvP since we all have the same base Health. See where this is going? TMYK🌈⭐️

4 RepliesBecause having a max mobility character who runs almost at sparrow speed might be a little broken

Edited by TexasBotHurt: 10/19/2019 7:25:12 PMTraction and a sprint speed Exotic are what you are looking for, the combination makes you very zoomy.
-
It boosts basic movement, not sprinting

I know!! Ild love to go round corners like Lewis Hamilton and take someone's head off

3 RepliesMobility is great for strafing, jump height and general walking speed. Sounds like it isn't worth it but try bumping it up to 6 and the difference is night and day. Ever crouch walk at high speeds? lol
-
4 RepliesBecause you don't want everyone in PvP sprinting around like squirrels on cocaine. Trust me on this.
-
I was wondering that too, but reading the feedback below it makes sense.

The description should say ‘walking/strafe speed,’ not movement speed. Still, high level comp players typically run mobility already because it can be very advantageous in the right hands. However, the 3 stats in general, especially the other 2, need to be reworked to have more notices effects.
