Enough with the sniper meta

It's more varied now than it was in year 3. It was all NLB and IceBreaker then. Shotguns got nerfed to oblivion where they could no longer do crit damage minus 2 exotics.

1 ReplyWhen people ask to nerf snipers or fusions, I actually can not physically comprehend it. Shotguns have ALWAYS been meta since Year 1 of Destiny 1. They're easier to use, more effective, and overall have a significantly higher usage. Sorry you can't barrel down a hallway without a second thought because someone's hard-scoping one of the very few lanes in the otherwise close-quarters map.

Tbh, snipers really are overpowered. I was playing a lot of comp today, and every time I was getting sniped, I would just think to myself that You just never quit do you? Took out Ghaul. Woke up the traveler, and now half of what I hear on the streets is how much you and your clan are making a difference. That's why I started this whole clan thing in the first place. People are still waiting for the vanguard to solve all their problems for them. People like you are making a difference. No pressure.

You should shoot them. Then that makes it hard for them to kill you.

You don’t have to peek that same sniper lane three times in a row and feed them kills.
