I have a question: where are all the "don't preorder" fanatics? I mean, after watching the train wreck of a demo last week, they should have been out in full throat.
I tried the free demo this weekend myself. I want to like this game. Unfortunately, even after having a week to get things in line, I've personally been kicked out of instances 3 times, hit the infinite loading screen glitch twice, had the entire game crash once, and had various glitches (can't switch weapons, infinite reload animation, enemies disappearing and reappearing somewhere else with full health, various animation stutters, cutscenes freezing and failing to play). All of this in only a few hours of play.
Anyways, with all the failures with this game so far, one would think these boards would be absolutely chock full of those looking for an evidence backed opportunity to crow about the evils of pre-orders.

You are absolutely right. Anyone who preorders ANY game these days (particularly from EA of all places) needs to stop and reconsider. Those who preorder are really helping greedy publishers push out half finished games, with chopped up content AND support the trend of these stupid "early access" schemes - a needless introduction that serves no purpose other than to fleece some players of more money. I think Athem will get fixed before the official launch....EA couldn't be that stupid to copy Fallout 76. Having said that I'm still not buying the game until I know for sure Athem has been fixed. I'm patient...I will happily be holding onto my money, even after launch date, just to be sure. I won't be ordering any BS 'Delux' or 'Ultimate' edition either....just the standard game. And as for micro transactions they will never get a cent out of me....just like D2.
