A lot of older subclass are really pale in comparison to the new subclass after forsaken ( I am looking at you, Gunslinger). DO bungie have plans to buff or at least rework the older ones? I think this will also beneficial for the players without forsaken DLC so they can feel more powerful and compete with the DLC owners.

4 RepliesIt's more of the old Supers that need some tender love and care moreso than the actual branches. Golden Gun clearly is lacking compared to Blade Barrage. It's still great in PvP, but it's basically only good for clearing a small group of adds. The base damage needs a solid 10% buff. More than that, the the precision damage from Crowd Pleaser needs some help. I'd go as far as making the D1 perk Combustion intrinsic to Golden Gun. Nova Bomb needs some more simplistic help. Slova needs better and more consistent tracking. Some times it tracks targets down hallways, sometimes it just flys randomly into a wall. Perhaps make the smaller tracks significantly faster. Vortex Bomb needs more range, radius, and damage tics. It's a little sad but the rest of the class is so strong it all but makes up for it. Additionally, Siegehammer needs a close-gap function. A simple forward hop is all it would take. And Siegebreaker, poor Siegebreaker. Sunspots are underwhelming. They need to buff armor like they did in D1. And Mortar Blast is terrible. It needs to be melee + AoE, not just AoE. It's so freaking weak. I could go on, but these are my main points.

7 RepliesNova bomb needs a big buff, nova bomb is to blade barrage what a little league team is to the Red Socks
-
Honestly, I'm having a hard time using the NEW ones because orpheus rig with tether is still so damn good.
-
3 RepliesWarlocks are in a pretty good place ATM. Like 90% The the attunements have a place in the game.
-
1 ReplyNighthawk does more damage than a blade barrage, so I’ll be running it most of the time in raids when I’m not rigsStalker. But in all honesty, for the hunter, way of the trapper with rigs is better than way of the wraith, and way of the warrior and wind are both better than way of the current.

5 RepliesWarlock IMO the most complete class in Destiny 2 right now. Are they perfect? No, there is always room for improvement particularly in one of two of the Solar and Arc sub-class trees...but overall whoever designed the Warlock did really good job or generating synergies between talents. They also have arguably the best equal if not best PvP and PvE supers in the game right now. Also quite a few of the subclass trees are good in both PvP and PvE which to some degree is an issue for Titans and is most definitely a problem for Hunters. Overall, its a good time to be a Warlock main

Nova Bomb need a buff or something
-
3 RepliesThey never updated the year 1 subclasses in D1 after Taken King, so I wouldn’t expect them to update the D2 year 1 branches after Forsaken. They also don’t really need updating, the old ones are all still pretty relevant.
-
For d3, yeah
-
Tether activation is still garbage af
-
Agreed
-
Love my sentinel shield. I have almost infinite super with my exotic armor when there are enough enemies too kill. I even managed to get a tripple down with one shield.
-
2 RepliesYeah I still like Gunslinger but Knives are just so much better now
-
11 RepliesThey did buff Stormcaller's ttk Dawnblade is still a really good roaming super, and can still zoom around with it Need I mention Devour Celestial Nighthawk does more damage than Blade Barrage Arcstrider is basically the same super twice, but infinity melee is always fun Nightstalker with Orpheus Rig is ideal for orbs still (and better than spectral blades) Need I mention Hammers Ward of Dawn got a health buff and a melee bonus But yeah Normal Striker may need something to compete because Thundercrash is AMAZING (all three subclasses have some form of one hit shoulder charge, not worried about that)
-
Dawnblade was pale to begin with, and now that void warp is a thing, I feel like I don't even have a super... It's like I'm a starving cat that sees humans eating at the dinner table...
-
I still think bottom-tree Voidwalker is strong, despite how good Nova Warp can be in the right hands.
-
Bladedancer, Sunsinger, and Defender. They must return in their own full glory.
-
I miss arcblade c:

6 RepliesEdited by gjeroniemo: 10/18/2018 2:24:08 PMNighthawk single target damage Orpheus tether Heal on melee kill for arcstriders Melting point Okay, i have nothing for the sentinel Dubble grenades (without using exotic) or a longer super if you get kills with said super. Dawnblade used as offense instead of support Single target damage nova bomb Longer ad clear capabilities as stormcaller. I just gave you a reason to use the old subclass path (apart from sentinel)
-
Gunslinger has always been my boy. Love it to death. Can’t imagine PvP without it.
-
I just want my tether to buff heavy weapon damage once more.
-
6 Replieswhy would you use burning maul or top tree sunbreaker? why would you use the new arcstrider over bottom tree arcstrider?
-
Edited by Killmonger: 10/18/2018 3:28:38 PMThey buffed bubble only to have it go back to the way it was falling victim to three supers again even though nova warp isn’t much of an issue in the bubble. Honestly though I just want the D1 bubble back.
-
13 RepliesThey need to bring back the D1 skill tree also... The D2 skill trees are horrible.
-
Most of the old subclasses are stronger
-
1 ReplyNah doin stuffs hard
