Don't push pve players to play pvp
As a PvE player, I feel kinda tired of been pushed to play pvp every week or to accomplish some adventures that provide good PvE rewards by playing PvP.
I don't have anything against PvP players, all my respect to those who enjoy playing PvP. I just would like to have the choice to play only PvE content, which is what I enjoy most, without playing PvP at all.
Same could be said the opposite way, if someone only enjoys PvP, they should be able to fully equip by just playing PvP content.
Also, as a PvE player, I feel there is not too much content to play. I think all maps should have weekly and daily activities. And not necessarily needing to finish them all, just giving choices on which map to play and farm.
I need a reason to kill things and I feel I am not given enough reasons to keep doing so, or I am unsure if what I am doing is useful or a waste of time. And why can't I replay the campaign?? Strikes become useless so early in game, and Nightfalls are not that hard so they could be added to matchmaking.
I enjoy the game, I like D2... just wanted to provide my feedback on things that could be improved from my point of view.

That's why so many games and companies prefer making 30 minutes of "replayable" PvP content instead of making multiple pieces of PvE content that lasts 30 minutes each. However this is a glaring problem in the Destiny franchise, where the PvP has and will literally never be objectively "good" because the game is simply far too "PvE" based. Something that Bungie will literally never learn and continue to rely on sub-par PvP content to pad out the game.

1 ReplyWhen I am forced to play PvP, I now play Comp because its faster games, gets the bounties done much quicker, slightly better rewards (personal opinion), also gains Valor, also never removes Valor win streaks even if you loose in comp. TLDR; I piss people off who solo in comp and they send me hate messages constantly. If things were slightly more SBMM, I would be back in PvP and not have any issues trying hard. In its current state there are far too many worthless games. What I mean by that is with a 50%, I am either murdering the opposing team and their players drop, or just the opposite some 80% of the time. I don't really like either. I would much rather just have fun playing against people in a bracket close to my own. It doesn't have to be exact, just ball park. Then I wouldn't have to deal with worthless games where people are motivated to abandon constantly on my or the enemy team. Till then... Comp all the way baby. And if you get pissed just think about this. I don't care. I have 3 team mates who will most likely loose. I have 4 other people playing that will most likely win. I just helped 4 people, and hurt 3. Net positive. You are welcome for my contribution.

You think people are saying that you suck, but I haven't seen that - I'm only seeing people asking you to clarify why you feel 'forced' and in lieu of an answer assuming that you're frustrated about the speed of your progression. That's my assumption as well. In other words, you feel like you are forced into PvP because otherwise, you would not progress your power level as quickly, correct? If so, then that's your trade off for ignoring PvP, and it doesn't hurt you at all. It will take you a small amount longer to hit max power than others who enjoy PvP. Short version: tell us why you are 'forced' into PvP. That's where your argument will be unraveled...

Wouldn't mind if they add more and more PvP content. But I don't enjoy it and feel I need to get throught it too often. If I am wrong, I would apreciate people answering with advice on how to get the best pve experience and progression. Don't come here just to say I suck in PvP and how easy it is for you to play it. You are as you are, and I am as I am. Easy enough I think. Now please, if you disagree, I will sincerely apreciate if you point me in the right direction.

4 RepliesYou're not forced to do anything. If you don't like the activities, don't do them but then you don't get rewarded. That's how it works, it shouldn't be reworked because you don't want to do the activities you don't think are fun.

Some people might say [i]youre not being forced[/i], yes some quest requirements must be met by pvp [i]but nobody is forcing you to play pvp[/i] Honeymoon with forsaken is over.

More powerful engrams from PVE content. Higher light rewards from PVE content. Most exotic quests have more PVE components than PvP. You aren’t forced. Just like I’m not forced to do PVE so I don’t. Stop being an entitled baby.

And not only I am forced to play PvP to progress, I am forced to do it with the weapon they want and the element they want to complete certain goals, bounties, adventures...
