Well I liked the direction D2 is going, personally. With the abilities being slower and the content being longer and more challenging. I prefer it to the spamfest that is D1(which is still fun). Obviously other people do not agree but I like the changes... in theory. If the abilities and supers are slower to gain, they should be more powerful and useful. In the beta, GG would take 2 hits to kill a Cabal Legionary. And those guys are probably one of the most prevalent enemies in the game, and also one of the weakest. So hopefully we can get a balance of how often we get the supers with how powerful the supers are, without our abilities feeling OP or underwhelming. OP would be much better than underwhelming though, if it had to be one or the other.

I agree but a thought hit me what if the supers are weak because we lack light. And got them by other means and when the next dlc drops it basically as if we freed the travel and we get the light back and supers become stronger. I may be off base but would be interesting

If we lose our light that means no respawns and no supers at all. And I guarantee we will get our light back in some way by like the 3rd mission
