Im not going to lie. This shit is off the rails fun. Different characters, weapons and abilities. Deep Progression system. You get a ton of points to spends on buying new boxes.
And on the first day they are adding a new playable character. Kudos Bioware for putting effort into the MP.
Apex missions are challanging even on Bronze setting so jump in, its not PVP. It's PVE.
Its Co-op 4 man pve survival style missions so far. I am in love with my Krogan Engineer headbutting everything that moves. I am trying to get an Asari Duelist. I am current playing as a Solarian Infiltrator using a submachine gun. My friend plays a sniper of that new race, his character is really cool forgot what it was called. He is able to give invisibility to entire group.
For those people that want a break from side missions its awesome. Matchmaking is fast. I will add a gameplay video of my Salarian later.

1 ReplyMy only gripe with multiplayer is how all three active powers have points already invested upon creating a character. I kinda wanted to allocate my points like ME3's.
-
3 RepliesI'm certainly in the minority, but I bought ME: A for multiplayer. The voice acting in the campaign being what it is makes multiplayer even more enticing. If ME were a true large-scale rpg where we could choose our race it'd be different, but as it is now, multiplayer is the only way I can play anything other than a human and have a truly customized character. I always said that instead of the Star Wars MMO that Bioware should have made one situated squarely in the Mass Effect universe, they don't have to send any licensing money to then Lucas and now Disney and they could tell any story they like without having to consider canon they didn't establish themselves. I'm hoping that BW's rumoured MMO will be a Mass Effect title. A Dragon Age title would be OK too I guess, it just seems that a ME title would stand a better chance at being a success than a DA one would.

Haven't got ME:A yet but ME3's multiplayer was a blast

Stupid levels of fun

7 RepliesThe grind for the Asari duelist is going to be real I spent 10$ on getting 3 premium packs to get only weapons and nothing N7

Edited by Unforgiven: 3/28/2017 9:54:09 PMDon't que for silver with level 1 character. So many people are doing this, and its quiete annoying having to carry them or leave lobbies. Que for Bronze then at least get some abilities leveled up.

12 RepliesI'm really enjoying it but there's a major flaw/overlook that really bothers me there's no way to search for a game with a friend you can custom public match and invite but if you are only inviting one person you will not get a third and fourth if you invite two people you'll will get an endless supply of forth players they need a way for a group to queue for a match

I just wish it had dedicated servers. P2P is fine for it, but some hosts just have horrible internet.

Edited by Unforgiven: 3/28/2017 11:54:17 AMTip: You can use multiplayer rewards from Apex missions in single player. In main menu make sure it says online when you start the game. Connecting then online. Then click resume or else strike teams will be offline. Now collect your rewards at the Strike Team Kiosk on the Tempest or in Operations on the Nexus. You would need to have teams running Apex missions or you doing them yourself.

2 RepliesIt's the same as me3.......... Nothing new.

All of my friends love the mp. I haven't been in it personally and all of them get pissed at me for it. If I ever get bored in the story, I will try it.

My friend plays a sniper of that new race, his character is really cool forgot what it was called. He is able to give invisibility to entire group.
Boi. You better not be talking about my angara avenger. The skill you are reffering to is his steath grid. Great power but currently buggy at times unless you are host. For me3 mp veterans.. he is basically the N7 shadow with a sticky nade and skill described above I have mine at 11+ and focued on melee. I havent lost a single match with it because I can revive everyone easily and keep them going. Im the team medic. (While also going afk ninja sprees).

8 RepliesJust got asari duelist today so much fun to play as her!
-
10 RepliesFun as hell dude, but I'm in a party with my bro, in custom matches....matchmaking doesn't seem to find other players for some reason. Amyone else run into this? We can't beat it on our own with low lv chars. Privacy is public

4 RepliesSo I didn't pick up MEA at launch and I probably won't until it goes on sale. This is how I bought ME3 and even though it was a month or two after release, the problem I had then was being totally under powered compared to all the day one players, having an awful time trying to catch up, and quitting entirely out of frustration. Will I be able to jump into MEA and keep up with my friends if I wait to buy it or is this the kind of multiplayer that is really only valuable for day one players?

1 ReplyIt 's really fun , i had to get used to it because the camera is different in 3 and they changed the button commands . But i am having a blast ,haven't even touched single player yet . Now if they could add the enemy races (and maps, if possible ) from 3 ( they added collector's in 3 as dlc so it can be done ) , i would never stop playing the game . If you need a team mate on ps4 who knows how to play add me : sfeermeneer

Don't know why you're surprised? Did you not play 3s multiplayer? It was excellent. And provided a ton of significant free content over time. I feel sorry for people who dismissed it as Horde Light. It had 10x more depth than Horde.
-
7 RepliesOh so you're finally finished bitching about the game now?
-
7 RepliesThem releasing content just 3 days after release shows they weren't done with the game... oh and the single player shows and proves they were definitely not done.
-
4 RepliesHaven't got it yet, please tell me it doesn't require an online pass this time
-
Game is trash
-
2 RepliesHaven't tried MP yet
-
7 RepliesFrom what I hear it's exactly the same as Mass Effect 3, or at least the same idea.
-
Imagine if they had put in mp into KotOR back in the day. Players would be wreaking house with all those force powers
-
4 RepliesThat game is like wiping hemorrhoids with 60 grit sandpaper
-
I hear it's good
