Honestly, I'm perfectly fine with this. I have absolutely no idea why anyone would get angry or upset about a fictional character's sexual orientation, but I suppose people have to be angry about [b]something[/b], don't they?
Edit: I'm glad to see not many other people care much, either. Also, as a side note, you've gotta give props to Blizzard. It takes some balls to make the face of Overwatch (she's on the game case, at the forefront of all online advertising, the most widely known character from the game, etc) openly gay.

2 RepliesMy issue with this Tracer kiss is that now they make seem like it is ok to post pictures of gays kissing. I don't care what them gays do at home, but i don't want to see it on the comics that show kids its ok to post same sex kissing pictures. Also a gay Tracer is now not attractive to me. Makes me not want to buy the game.

Of all people I would have thought widow maker or zarya. I would never have expected tracer. I think this is rather forced as it doesn't fit the character well.

14 RepliesThe game is obviously targeted at a wider audience which includes children. Just look at the commercials. Now diversity exists but you don't need to teach kids that it is ok to be kissing the same sex. They should learn those things from other sources. Not from video games.

In the grand scheme of things I don't see why people would even care about details like this both inside and outside development. If I were to write a character, the last things I would think about is their gender, sexuality, race, etc..., it just doesn't seem important to the character in any way. But hey, it's the 21st century, the age of fragile feelings and butt hurt idiots who think it does for some reason.
