Granted the ornaments don't look very impressive when previewing them in your menu, set against the pale blue background. But when you actually have them on and can see them in person... they are quite spectacular. I put my ornaments on my hunter while I was in the raid and it was fantastic. They stand out so much. (See picture) I understand that it's annoying that we can only get three per week, but still, they are really cool. Also, I thought the challenge was fine. I know everyone wants to come online and say how easy it was and not a challenge at all, but people always forget that challenge mode only effects the method or way you complete the raid, not the actual mechanics. Nothing is ever added. I'm happy with this challenge. Another thing that a lot of raiders tend to forget, is that we are a very small minority. Very few people even get to attempt hard mode. It may seem easy for some of us but that is only because most of us raid constantly. We have teams and strats. Another argument I see posted is that everyone is 400 already so who needs the raid... Well some of us just genuinely enjoy playing the game. I enjoy raiding. I enjoy collecting better rolls on gear and the shaders and emblems. It's all about the journey. It's not about powering to 400 and then throwing the disk away. You have to find your own adventure sometimes. Mix things up. Try out different strats and weapons. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for more content. And I really want the dubious volley to make itself known. I want these 90 siva clusters I collected to announce their purpose. But in the meantime, I'm enjoying this raid and having fun making my gear look even cooler. So, long story short, (too late) I like the ornaments. Ha
