I'm usually a zone capper... one of the best. I took this morning and decided to play like 90% of the other players and just worry about K/D without having a single care or concern about zones.
Well... I lost 12 out of 15 games. This just goes to show you people how valuable a capping player can be. My K/D was phenomenal... but we lost almost every game.
If only players played the objective and stopped being such ego douches, perhaps the feeling of victory may come by more often.
Hard proof now that I carry most of my games when I'm aggressively capping.
You're welcome

"Something interesting just happened in Crucible..." Stop lying OP, this is the most boring topic I've read on these forums to date.
-
2 RepliesWhat I don't get is why ppl go into control or rift if all they plan on doing is killing ppl, really clash is way more fun for solo players and way easier not only that but those high kds actually mean something
-
Slow Clap. Move on. You gave in to that which is weak, and posted about it on the internet. It cost you 12 defeats. Good job on that....
-
3 RepliesDo you capture all 3 zones to flip spawns or just 2...I prefer just 2 so I don't screw my team over completely if they push to far

1 ReplyNo linked account. No proof. I call bullshit.

I do both good job you objective player you. W3 need more of you in banner

4 RepliesEdited by Alstrza: 6/23/2016 10:52:51 PMI bet you were that asshole who kept on flipping the spawns in iron banner at the end. I ALSO THINK YOU'RE THAT GUY WHO ALWAYS PUSHED ME WHEN I WAS ON A 11 KILLSTREAK AND GOT ME SNIPED? Jesus man crucible hero's these days...

4 RepliesEdited by Sycoa: 6/24/2016 2:50:42 AMI always thought the point of control was to maintain the two favourable zones as much as possible and get a positive kd.... I hardly have to cap zones as I'm usually running between choke points killing people as best I can before they get to them. Most of the top players in PvP never cap zones. Or deploy in salvage, there's slayers, objective players and people who do both when needed
-
It's called control not capture. Ideally you should only have to capture two zones and the rest is al about the kills. In the end it's a death match. Kills matter. You cap once and then slay people. Stop trying to cover up your kd by calling yourself a pro capper because nobody cares if your kd is bad.
-
2 Repliesi got 2 kills in call of duty today
-
People with bad kd's should cap. Killers like me should roam and kill = win %100
-
6 RepliesYou don't need all 6 people capping zones. Each person should play a different role in the match
-
Just play rumble if your worried about team work.

play clash

9 RepliesTo control a zone, you have to actually kill people around the zone, and then cap the zone. After that, it's all about slaying with two zones for those bonus points. Many people think that just because you run to the zone and sit in it you are playing the objective. You're actually just dying and giving the other team an advantage.
-
10 RepliesThe problem with control, and one of the reasons why I don't play nearly as much anymore, is that people DO cap zones.................when the SHOULDN'T! There is a right time and place, and most definitely a wrong time and place to cap (the 3rd zone). I will always try and help cap a point, as long as it's one that actually needs captured. Half the time though you have these complete plebs that just sprint from one side of the map alllllllll the way across to the other side, flip the spawns while trying to cap, and screw the game for everyone. Control = most frustrating game type, lol.

Edited by haphazardlynamed: 6/24/2016 2:21:34 AMYou're only 1 of 6 on your team how can you be sure that your individual actions of capture/not were the determining factor? all things being equal, if everyone ignores zones as you imply they do would that not also apply to the enemy team? why did they win so often if they also ignored the zones?

i hear ya. i know a few ppl who would rather farm rift for kill's than help score tha mudda fukka

7 RepliesI agree that people should play objectives in destiny, it really annoys me when people do nothing but kill other players and ignore the scoring system for the match, like zones or the spark, it bloody irritating! Forget about your damn k/d and try to help your side win for once!

THANK YOU! FINALLY AFTER 2 YEARS OF CRUCIBLE DOWN THE DRAIN FINALLY ANSWERED. Now I know I can win more... Wait... Nope... I have no control over how other people like to play the game. Guess everything is RNG of what players u match with.
-
2 RepliesI thought that's what Clash mode was for?? Go figure.

I know what you mean. It's luck when you play solo and need wins for a bounty. I ranked up a crucible rep level trying to get a salvage win last week. One game I spawned into was half over and somehow just me vs an actual non matchmade team of 2. They were worse than me but even trading team wipes 1v2 leaves no real way score points in salvage. If I had had one teammate getting assists, revives, disables and no kills it's a win.

I played a match with some friend a while ago on Thieves Den, and let me tell you this: That is bull. (With the right team) My team and I held one zone the ENTIRE TIME, and I ended up going on two, 15 kill streaks. If you have teammates that know what they are doing, and good players, all you have to do is hold 1 zone. I have also done this on Twilight Gap, Black Shield, and Pantheon, while never capping B. I don't know about others, but if your the only ones getting kills, the other team stands no chance. You can also switch spawns when too pressured o they push through. That is just my experience. Note: I did play with friends and not random noobs.
