Truth, I got it after some people helped carry me through year one nightfall(when the rewards were good) My most cherished destiny menu is when I saw truth show up in the end menu.

I remember I didn't know what the lfg was (This was when the weekly heroic had no matchmaking) so I asked someone in the tower to carry me, and I finally was able to buy an Ice Breaker from Xur.
