It looks like a call of duty game (I am a fan) ,will be a better destiny than Destiny.
What do I mean? Better more epic sci-fi story with space battles, way better PvP, everything Destiny wants to be when it grows up.

22 RepliesThere was a freaking Pelican from Halo in the trailer lol, and it just looks like star wars space battles just no where near as big. The game looks garbage again I will maybe try the zombies story though and cod 4 mp

1 ReplyLol just watched the reveal trailer on YouTube, never seen so many dislikes. It doesn't look to bad imo. Didn't see no jetpacks and wall running which is a good sign. But realistically I'm just going to buy it for call of duty 4.
-
Space battles? You do realise that will be on rails right?
-
destiny shouldve added space ship battles instead of stupid srl now destiny fans will cough up $80 for this feature only and remastered MW

2 RepliesWhile I seem to be one of the few that actually likes CoD moving farther and farther into sci-fi, the new one looks interesting to me. The leveling system in BO3 was a big step in the right direction of PVE longevity, but replaying those handful of missions that were actually fun got old quick. If they managed to make some more open world-like areas that one could go back to for varying objectives (similar to patrols or proper MMO-like dailies), it might be worth playing solo for some time. I'm pretty sure they're going to backpedal on the RPG elements Treyarch threw in their though, so the campaign will be another Michael Bay style explosion filled interactive movie. It is a bit ironic that they are going to (I think it was) Saturn's moons. They might have even done that as a jab at destiny. That said, shifting a battle halfway across the solar system seems a little far fetched unless they pushed CoD forward at least another century. Regardless, I don't think it's beating Destiny at its own game. Maybe beating Killzone at its own game... But that's not saying much. And the Killzone people are making Horizon Zero Dawn, which is a total departure from the FPS genre. It does look fun though, to me. The remastered CoD4 is a nice touch, but I wouldn't buy a whole game I didn't like just for that (as some people have indicated). In the end, I'll wait for the reviews unless there's a significant pre-order bonus (that actually interests me). *ramble*

13 RepliesEdited by Kadaver Kody: 5/3/2016 1:07:34 PMYour forgetting cod doesn't have ANY pve.
and no running a campaign over and over doesn't count as pve imo
It also looks like it'll be a better Halo game than "Halo" 5 could ever hope to be.
-
3 RepliesA huge portion of people are going to buy it for cod 4 remaster.
-
Lol satire? Right?

13 RepliesEdited by Executor Hideo: 5/3/2016 3:45:50 AMIt'll be like Black Ops 3 or Advanced Warfare... Didn't even dent Destiny because lets face it... CoD is rehashing the same game over and over again. People are bored. Same reason people stopped going after Assasins Creed or Halo (mostly). People aren't bored with Destiny (yet) because it's not a rehashed game. It still has a smidge of origionality. Same reason why people will still purchase and enjoy Fallout or the Division (although the Division fell flat for other reasons). They've only released a few and each one is so unique that they can spread a single game out over a few years with only a few updates to continue sparking interest. So no, CoD will not kill Destiny. Mostly because CoD killed itself.

Destiny unfortunately is an addiction that won't go away no matter what you do. On another note, I'm hyped for IW

17 RepliesThe new COD is halo for playstation owners.
-
The sad truth: they are produced by the same company, and employ shady business tactics.
-
Well at least it looks like it will have spaceship warfare...
-
Only 'story' this game looks like it has is a surprise attack from a human military group. Original as -blam!-.

4 RepliesLooks like it's going to have the same futuristic gadgets and probably movement system as well. The advanced warfare and black ops 3 movement system kind of ruined cods for me, and I believe it did so for others. If infinite warfare has the same thing, I will only consider buying it for a remastered mw1
-
5 RepliesThe last two cod games were trash, this new one will be the same. Only reason people will buy it is for the remastered modern warfare
-
Post moved from #Destiny, why am I not surprised?
-
31 RepliesLol. Destiny is a game to immerse yourself in lore. Cod will never compare to destiny.
-
9 RepliesI would rather play Destiny than a shit shooter like COD.
-
The trailer is just a trailer. You don't know what the finished product will look like. Temper expectations until more info is available, and don't make unfounded claims.
-
Destiny will have been out for two years by the time infinite warfare comes out. It's not that hard to watch what people want in one game and then put them in a new game. Especially when both games are owned by the same company. Why make one game with everything when you can make two with different things and double your money.
-
2 RepliesDidn't bo3 just release 6 months ago?
-
That call of duty looks like dog shit
-
3 RepliesI never knew Bungie wanted destiny to be a copy and paste FPS game, I though that was why they stopped making Halo.
-
Seriously? They're not even similar games. Like comparing borderlands and gran turismo because you can sometimes drive in borderlands. The setting of a game doesn't state its genre...
