Improved Nightfall rewards? F****g bulls**t Bungie!
290 armor pieces, 295 ghost shells, 18 strange coins and a whole heap of -blam!- YOU for your efforts. There is absolutely no need for this BS Bungie, like seriously...Why? Thoughts everyone, what are your experiences because from what I've heard around is that these rewards are pretty god damn common, way more common than they should be. Hell, they shouldn't even be in the loot table but whatever that's my rant done. Now let's actually hear your thoughts.

I agree 4th week I've gottend 290-303 crap the 303 being ghost shells an i have two 320 ghosts and a 317 one as well. the 290 shitty armor that a 318,317 and 314 characters can not use

If you've played enough of the year 2 nf you realize it's not meant for top tier players because we have most items. Was helping a friend who just got ttk this week and at 270 light he ended up getting 305 gauntlets as a drop. Now to us that cheeks for a reward but a 35 light increase for a new player that's a normal raid drop without doing a raid. I'm just playing nf for sparrow and horn kits now lol.

This is the only improvement I can find that they made. Taken from the 2/9 update news: Nightfall Reduced the chance for ghost shells to be awarded from completing the weekly in favor of other rewards They say absolutely nothing about increased light for rewards. So I say stop complaining, and do something other than nightfalls.

When I was playing during TTK, I stopped doing nightfall within a couple of weeks of the expansion release. It just wasn't worth the time and effort in regards to the changes they made to both the difficulty and the rewards associated with the event. Most people I played with felt the same way and the forums have reflected that sentiment for months. It's nothing to get frustrated over because you aren't missing anything by not doing it.

If you want high light level items do the raid or trials bro. Not nightfall

1 ReplyThe best you can hope for now is a 310 exotic which you get in 10 min. farming with a few 3 of coins. Bungie, market the chance of a 320 exotic and people would care about NF again.

Imagine a level 310 nightfall with the nightfall modifier! Just how many people could lay claim to completing that? Need to prove it, bring the blue flames back! You could have levels 280, 300 and 320 nightfalls (for example), each with their own colour flames. The rewards could be tailored to the level run and by running the highest level first, you would accrue all the awards in one go. This would allow players of all abilities and light levels to match their NF to their comfort levels/abilities, and present a greater challenge to those wanting more. To me this is a simple answer, catering for many (most?) players in one logical step. I appreciate it may not be easy at a programming level, but surely it would make many players happy? EDIT: It seems a few people seem to like this and so I will propose this to Bungie. Who knows, they may even implement it in some way.

I don't care if the rewards are bad, the nightfall takes 10 min, if they add the nightfall modifier again and we got the same rewards, that's when problems will happen

That was our results. Nothing at all. We used 3 of coins and all didn't even have a single loop drop. Must have the same settings for it as the crimson doubles. This game is such garbage in rewards.

This week was probably the worst yet. I got 10 3oc, 18 strange coins and a legendary horn kit. Why the hell would I want a legendary horn kit?

On completion I got 23 strange coins as the reward & Valus dropped a blue weapon & a blue armour engram. I was saltier than a dozen anchovies served on a bed of sea salt with a glass of saline to wash it down! If I hadn't been using the Razer Sabertooth my wife got me for Xmas I swear it would have pitched the thing across the room & rage quit. The loot system blows. It's reached the point where the loot is so bad it's like a slap in the face. I feel like I'm being penalised for the time I'm putting into the game. Bungie insists every time they release a new update they've improved the Nightfall rewards but if anything they get worse. I'd care a bit less about it if we at least still got the flame head exp buff, I'd have a better chance of getting my faction rank high enough to get the exotic class item quest. The missions & story year 2 provided were a huge improvement on year 1 but RNGesus H. Creesus has the enjoyment gone!

8 RepliesLol. I love the kids who violently complain about nightfall rewards still. You're entering this mission knowing the rewards are useless. It's your own fault. Want change to happen? Stop running nightfalls. If you keep running them, you have only yourself to blame.
